1. All around game for the AA.
2. Jamal
3. Jayce.
Let's go Warriors! Need to bring it in Senior Day!
Markus
Markus
But i love what jayce brings
Really liked Jamal's play in the first half, but it's Markus.
Honestly, almost everyone played great today. But Howard with a controlled, complete, and dominating game gets the nod.
Markus
I'd go koby
Markus.
Sacar
Cain
Markus
It's always tempting to look for a SOTG that isn't Markus.
Maybe next year.
Markus- 30/6/7 deserves it Everytime.
Markus. Full stop.
Howard
today he truly was Markus
Markus. He plays like this (along with others being willing to take shots and being able to make some of them) and this team is dangerous. Let's see if they can duplicate against a far better Seton Hall team.

Horrible night on the court and now making jokes at his expense?
Oh well, I like the sarcasm.
Markus for sure... another under appreciated 30 pt game
I thought we already gave it to Red Panda
Howard, but Red Panda gets honorable mention.
Damn, Jayce was a missed FT from a double-double.
Markus

Or going up strong at the end instead of dishing to Sy.
They spread the wealth tonight and as much as I would like to nominate someone else
Markus
Great game by Howard. 7 dimes and 5 boards to go along with his efficient 30. One of his best games all year.
Markus
Early in the second half, I would have given it to Jamal, but Markus was special and kept on coming. I hope he gets help the rest of the way like he did tonight.
Markus
Does anyone have a video of Red Panda?
No doubt again Markus

Cain and Jayce were both studly but Markus was magic.
Markus.

Not sure how the quality is.
Theo 2 rebounds in 18+ minutes
Jayce 11 rebounds in 21+ minutes
Markus. Efficient, smart, very well-played game.
Markus had several other games in which he passed just as well, but it's hard to get assists when teammates are throwing bricks. Creighton game leaps to mind.

This.
My favorite shot was that 'I can't believe he didn't get hit. How did he toss that layup in exactly?'
Honorable mention: #thething (Rowsey musta called and told him to start taking the hit.)
Sacar. Two lay ins to start the game. Set the tone that there wasn't a need to start jacking shots.

Missed this last night. Don't actually LOL often, but you got me here, JB.
Really enjoyed watching them all work the ball, but Markus led that. Complete game for Markus, but watching him dish the ball so well really was fun to watch.

Yep. Wojo has done a very nice job managing their PT.
For example, Jayce couldn't compete against Creighton and Nova, so Theo got the majority in those games.
Not sure why some Scoopers insist on saying it must be an either-or thing. "Jayce is better. Play him." Nonsense.
Some opponents are more suited to Theo, some to Jayce. Some games Theo is playing better, sometimes it's Jayce. When both are playing equally well, the minutes are split accordingly.
If every Warrior executed his role as well as our center position does most games, we'd have a few more wins.

Also noticed since Ed left that Theo's foul troubles seemed to have waned a bit. Clearly coaching staff telling him to be a bit more conservative defensively. That bodes well for next year, especially if we don't have as capable as backup as Jayce next season.

On the down side he has watched or backed off to guard against the dump off and let some layups go unchallenged.
C'mon, Topper, we're going to have another debate about SOTG tomorrow. You've got to decide, is it Markus or Red Panda for GTown?

Other than QSR picks, the mods don't let Topper anywhere near complex decision making other than the Arby's condiment choice. As to the OP, Rocky is too busy with his craft beer, man yoga and ganja selections to pick the SOTG.
Time to give it to Howard so he can break another all-time Marquette record, most SOTG awards in a single season. He currently shares the record with himself from last year and Jae Crowder from 2012.

Brew (or anyone, really): any idea on the answer to this?

Technically, it's Frozena. He was named co-SOTG in 10-11. As for more legitimate ones, not sure. I'd guess maybe one of Otule or Gardner's performances
