THE ANSWER!!!!!
Always too early chili.
If this goes triple you get a week ban
The Two Musketeers: Sacar and Koby.
Sacar for SOTG
Sacar
Sacar
Sacar
Sacar. But damn, Koby.
1. Koby
1a. Sacar
Sacar and McEwen
Gotta go Sacar. But we were dead in the water without Koby at the end of regulation.
Sac
I swear to God, Chili, you're my boy, but if you keep putting up early studs, I am going to ask the Mods to ban you. It's bad juju!!!!!
BTW it's Sacar.
First half, Markus. Getting us to OT & OT2, Koby. Winning the game, Sacar.
Sacar.
1. Sacar
2. Koby. Wow the last few minutes
3. MH. hope he's back next game. He brought us back in the first half.
Let's go Warriors!!
Sacar
Sacar. Nice to see Koby ramp up to keep us in it. Sacar's career night was it, however.
Sacar but I feel dirty not picking Koby. He was huuuuuge!
Sacar with a HUGE assist from Koby.
How great it is that we have this thread!
I was killing Koby early on. He bailed us out. He almost did it last time.
Gotta go with Sacar. Koby was big at the end but Sacar was more consistent. Plus he hit the dagger near the end.
Sacar. With Koby right behind.
Sacar
Koby Honorable mention
Shades of @GTown last year where they gutted one out without Markus. Huge win!
Tony Smith: "pretty obvious it's Co-MVPs"
Sacar the star.
Sacar.....Koby
PGHeroes final answer.

28 points on 14 shots and 4 steals in 48 minutes? Sacar

This game doesn't go to OT without Koby. Without OT we don't win. Koby

Koby did indeed have an insane 8 minute stretch, but IMO Sacar was clutch throughout. We also don't get to OT without his back-to-back (I think) steals.
Koby was great, but ultimately it was Sacar!

Yep Sacar was incredibly good. 5/9 from three. Koby shot very poorly but his resilience at the end was big-time.
KPom and most of us agree: Big Sac Man
Sacar had a couple of huge steals when we desperately needed anything to give us a lift.
Oh, and he hit a few big shots, too!
Obviously appreciate Koby's contributions, too.
And kudos to Wojo for keeping the lads focused and hopeful after the nation's leading scorer went out and, later, after our leading rebounder fouled out.
Sacar but I have no issue with Koby getting it.

Yep. Sacar was great too. No problem with either of them getting it.
I'm giving it to Wojo for going with the guy with the hot hand multiple times during the game. First Markus, then Koby, then Sacar. Especially when he switched from Koby to Sacar at the end. He was really in tune with the players. Of course if your simply going to limit it to players it has to be Sacar. Koby was amazing for a second, but Sacar was solid all game and special at the end.

My vote goes to Sacar. His play was relatively consistent throughout. Koby's lightening in a bottle was impressive. Though.
Wojo gets an honorable mention.
Sacar
Koby was a Shooting Star. But Sacar's Star was a Brighter and Longer Burning one.
Sacar with lots of supporting help. I can hear that after game locker room way down here
Sacar.
Although Koby's stats beginning at about the 38 minute mark must be unreal.
BTW, scoop secret, THE ANSWER had Sonoran salsa in his pockets.
Well done Dunks, our back up SOTG
Red shirt senior. Too bad he hasn't developed under Wojo. ;)
Sounds like I missed a barn-burner but wow...
"Koby McEwen scored 17 straight points for Marquette (15-6, 5-4 Big East) after Howard left, "
If that isn't studly I don't know what is. I mean I don't think the award is just high scorer of the game

You clearly didn't see the game.
Really tough call. Sacar overall, but without Koby Sacar cannot get it...crazy game

Here's one time where the stud of the GAME is obvious.
If Koby had played well for most of the game and then did what he did, it would be no contest, but that didn't happen.
Sacar did it ALL GAME ALL DAY
Top Senior gets my vote.
Tough call for all the things mentioned here, but one thing-once Kobe got into position to win, he got out of the way. He didn't hurt us. He didn't force anything once his role was done. I don't know what wojo to,d him in the huddles, but Kobe could have gotten overconfident thinking, "I've got this one" but he indirectly handed over the reigns to sacar but was ready willing and able if called upon.
As much as Kobe put us into position to win this thing, he could have over played his hand and lost it for us as well. For that, I really struggle with just giving it to the obvious candidate-SA
As clutch as Koby was, it's Sacar. Koby got us to OT and to 2OT....but we may not have needed OT if he played a little better in the first 38 minutes
Sacar
Sacar Anim
Koby
Sacar in the very best game of his college career. The dude has been unbelievable the last few games. He's earned the SOTG. And he should start getting recognized for the player he has become.
And let me give props to Koby. Earlier this year he might have allowed his early struggles to get under his skin. For 8-10 minutes he was All Conference. And MU doesn't sniff OT or the win without that.
Lastly, Markus' youthful 'pretty face' days are officially over. Helluva hit.
Spot on about Sacar. He has played extremely well over the past month and been fun to watch. Hopefully he will continue this stretch of very good play. Give him a lot of credit for getting back in the flow in the OT's.
In addition, his D stops when down by eight was the game changer IMO.

This might be the best comment of the thread.
Sacar.
Kobe came alive just in time though. Obvious runner up.
I wish we would start a RUTG list.
I remember when Sacar was signed, I wondered how long it would be before he had an off night and someone would dub him Suck-ar.
In 4+ years, it has never happened (at least that I have seen), so either he has never had a truly bad game, or no one else thought of it. Last night was a career outing for him and I am glad he finally gets some glory in his own right.

It takes a village, hey?

You called it. Sacar.
Sacar
Ben Steele's article reminded me of how bad Sacar was as a frosh. He's come a long way.
Sac but koby close
Sacar The Answer
Anim without a doubt. Really impressed how clutch Koby was and not afraid at all to take and make big shots, even though to that point, was having a rough night all around.
Great team win, need to string together wins now. They're in good position despite roller coaster in conference so far.
Honorable mention for having a solid end of game:
Theo. He seemed to be everywhere with out a stat - but getting into things under the boards and keeping disciplined late in the game into overtime. Jayce was just a whisper on the bench (not that there was anything that he was doing wrong, just didn't seem like there was reason to make the sub).
