Markus
Easy one. Markus
Other guys pitched in nicely tho
markus.
The field though won us the game -- what a great job getting into the paint
Obviously Markus, followed closely by anyone who logged any sort of stat from the paint

Agree. Was great to see some involvement of post players.
Markus Howard
If there ever was a time for " STUDS " of the game, this is it. EVERYBODY contributed.
Markus.
Markus.
Loved the team rebounding tonight, for the most part. Theo and Jayce both with 7 or 8 ea.
Markus again.
Liked the way we opened with different guys scoring.
Going with Theo. 10 points, seven rebounds, 2 assists. 174 Orating. MU set the tone early by going inside. I will even say his T allowed MU to mark the paint.
Markus, enjoy him while he's here.
HOWARD- No question. Fun game to watch. Felt like we were due. X missed a ton of shots but MU's rebounding was impressive.
Markus, and Jayce was the spearhead of our Toughness.
It was a great team effort. Symir Torrence was the only guy under 100 ORtg, we dominated the glass on both ends, and the defense was solid.
That said, it's obviously Markus.
Numero Cero
howard. theo had a game theo should be having. not zero points.
Markus, and it's not close.
Nights like this are becoming common. And that's ridiculous. We need to really enjoy the last dozen or so games we have with him in the blue and gold.
Markus. We should all appreciate him while he's here.
Team as a whole played very well, but Markus in a landslide.
Symir.
Just good to see him log a bunch of minutes that mattered. He has some learning to do but it was great seeing him get an opportunity. This can only help down the road.
Markus. 35 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and just 2 turnovers in 38 minutes. Stud.
As others have mentioned, he was supported by the best team effort for 40 minutes so far this season. Everyone not named Markus shot a combined 53.8% (14-26) from 2-point range and 41.6% (5-12) outside the arc. We out-rebounded a very experienced and physical team on both ends of the court. And the team's turnover rate was below our season average.
Sacar was particularly impressive: 12 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks and 3 steals in 36 minutes. Theo and Jayce were a two-headed monster down low, combining for 12 points, 15 rebounds, 3 assists, a block, no turnovers and just 6 fouls between them.
Just the win Marquette needed. Bring on the Hoyas.

The SOTG was aggressiveness. Markus led the way in that. But great to see BB, Sacar and Koby drive and attack.

I've also been really impressed with Brendan's defense and rebounding as of late. Works hard to stay in front of his man, recovers quickly, always tries to contest shots with his long arms and doesn't foul often. On the defensive glass, he's currently 2nd on the team in DR% (17.4%) per KenPom -- ahead of Theo (17.3%), Jamal (17.1%) and Ed (16.0%). BTW, that's the same percentage as Seton Hall's 7-2 center Romaro Gill.

He's also super sneaky with blocks. Always seems to make a really contortionist move to get a really clean block. Almost magician-like.

Apparently Tony Smith has a Scoop account.
It can't really be that difficult of a decision that it's taking this long, can it?

That would have been true, but the following caused a machine exception, and we had to reboot the SOTG mainframe.

As I said, it was good to see him get meaningful minutes. It wasn't an actual vote. Maybe should have used teal but I meant what I said, good to see him do OK against a legit opponent.
Stop taking this so seriously.

I actually have to agree. Symir's minutes in the X game could pay huge dividends moving forward.

I think most are on board with your comments, and I'm guessing he's minutes continue to increase.
