Odell Beckham Jr. hands out cash to LSU players following national championship win

To paraphrase Jerry Tarkanian ... the NCAA is going to get so mad about this they will put Appalachian State on two years probation!

Fake money. You would have known that if you read the article. They did get nice headphones though, which is acceptable.

Such a BS quote by one of the dirtiest coaches the game has ever seen yet people believe it's true.

So that's what they are going with, OBJ just happened to bring a wad of monopoly money to hand out ... just for show.
Add another year to Appalachian State!

Maybe Arizona and Kansas can use this argument ... they paid the recruits with fake cash.

An LSU athletic official told The Advocate on Tuesday morning the money was not real. The school is still looking into the matter, the official said later Tuesday, because although novelty bills were found on the field during the postgame celebration, it was unclear whether those were the bills Beckham was handing out.
It's uncertain where the novelty bills came from.

Burrow's interview on PMT was very, very interesting.
-
Burrow's interview on PMT was very, very interesting INCREDIBLE.
The Odell stuff is still plausible, given he was talking about being out and about after.
Other than that, I f-ing love this kid. I just talked about it in the CFB thread. So endearing, so confident without being obnoxious, legit funny. The rapport he has with PMT is tremendous.

So who is digging that hole now??

And then there was this ....
Cop reportedly threatened to arrest LSU players smoking celebratory cigars in Superdome

AL.com reports that 15 minutes into the locker-room celebration, an officer told Tigers players to extinguish their cigars and threatened to arrest anyone who didn’t.

So given your random agenda against LSU, what does a dbag cop on a power trip have to do with anything? A picture of Burrow that could have been taken well before the cop ever showed up is gonna be used to show the disgusting nature of LSU and their athletic department? ::)
-
Joe Burrow and Odell Beckham definitely should be ruled ineligible for next season.

An alum giving players cash and those players are smoking cigars. Where will the madness end?

Heisie thinks he is the Isaac Newton of investing....
He convinced me to sell my Apple stock and thank God for that. It sure has crashed since then!

Heisie thinks he is the Isaac Newton of investing....
If you looked up Issac Newton's investing history, you would revise this to say I am!
(hint, he actually does have a very famous investing history)
-
Summary ... in 1720 Newton dumped the hottest stock of the day, the Apple of the day, the South Seas Company. It went up a another 700% without him.
His contemporaries, let's call them scoopers, made fun of missing on that great opportunity.
Newton jumped in near the top, only to see the South Seas company crash and essentially wipe him out.
---------------------
Isaac Newton was a genius, but even he lost millions in the stock market
https://www.businessinsider.com/isaac-newton-lost-a-fortune-on-englands-hottest-stock-2016-1
"Back in the spring of 1720, Sir Isaac Newton owned shares in the South Sea Company, the hottest stock in England. Sensing that the market was getting out of hand, the great physicist muttered that he 'could calculate the motions of the heavenly bodies, but not the madness of the people.' Newton dumped his South Sea shares, pocketing a 100% profit totaling £7,000. But just months later, swept up in the wild enthusiasm of the market, Newton jumped back in at a much higher price — and lost £20,000 (or more than $3 million in [2002-2003's] money. For the rest of his life, he forbade anyone to speak the words 'South Sea' in his presence."
-------
So Gooo, you want to revise that post to say I am the Issac Newton of investing?

Really hope Wes was giving out fistfuls of $100s tonight.

Burrow's interview on PMT was very, very interesting.
There's a non-zero percent change that Bama fans just became huge OBJ and Burrow stans.

Classic example of how everyone is in the wrong in a story:
-Players were smoking in a non-smoking area
-Cop was overaggressive in trying to stop the smoking
-OBJ was wrong in slapping the cops ass, certainly no different than this story: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/14/us/man-slaps-reporter-arrest.html (https://www.nytimes.com/2019/12/14/us/man-slaps-reporter-arrest.html)

The cop was not overly aggressive. Some politically correct female reporters from ESPN and other sources complained about the smell and demanded the cops tell them to put out the cigars so they could do their jobs in the locker-room. (it was technically against state law and the cops were more worried the media would write unflattering stories about them if they did not act.)
The reporters tweeted about it.

Nice to see that ultimately everyone came to their senses, though.

So, asking people to enforce the law is now “PC run amok?” Dumbass.

Right.
New Orleans police were monitoring Heather Dinich's twitter feed throughout the night, and the moment she tweeted about how smoky the locker room was, they took it as a "demand" of how they ought to enforce the law and sprung into action out of fear over bad press.
Very credible conclusion you've come to.
Except one major problem with your very dumb theory.
Dinch tweeted that at 12:25 a.m.
At 12:16 a.m., Alabama beat writer Michael Cassagrande tweeted the following from inside the locker room:
"Cop just walked into a smokey LSU locker room dead serious and said everyone smoking a cigar is subject to arrest."
https://twitter.com/ByCasagrande/status/1216967340488908800
In other words, the cop did this at least 9 minutes before Dinch said anything (assuming Cassagrande was tweeting very fast).

Or she was in the locker room, and the hall right outside it, and was complaining to the cops on the scene to provide security for the 20 minutes before she got around to tweeting it.
You really try too hard.

Didn’t say that. I said blaming women and political correctness for the actions of power mad, idiot cops was idiocy.
