Can I have one more game to think about it?
I'll guess after the game after Xavier. Idk who it is st johns?
If they go 7-11 in league, maybe (60/40 yes). If they win 8+ Big East games, yes.

8 wins in BEast won't make it Brew.
I still believe 10-12 wins are attainable. MU was never going to win at Seton Hall. Providence... yeah, that one hurt. But there is still a lot of basketball to be played. 6 games against DePaul, Georgetown, and SJU. Xavier is good but not world-beating. MU needs to be more physical on the boards and be willing to finish at the basket.

I don't think 11 or 12 wins is attainable. 9 probably is. And 9-9 in the BE is probably like a 9 seed in the NCAAT this season.

I think 10 is probably the ceiling given the 1-3 start. Would sign up for 9 right now though

X - W
@Gtown - W
SJU - W
@ Butler - L
@ X - L
Depaul - W
Butler - L
@ Nova - L
Creighton - W
@ PC - W
Gtown - W
SHU - W
@ Depaul - W
@ SJU - W
I think that is the absolute ceiling. Which is 11-7. We probably lose at least 1 of @ PC, @ Depaul or @ SJU. SHU at home will be tough. I think 9-9 is where we'll be, unless multiple guys start playing better.

10-12 more wins???? LOL You are out of your mind!!
9-11 more conference wins. And, nah, we got this.
I don't know!
If I am wrong, it will be the first time in Wojo's tenure that I didn't accurately predict win totals. I feel like MU is going to clean up on DePaul, Georgetown, and SJU. 7. Beat X and Creighton at home. 9. I consider that a lock. Then finding two more out of SHU at home, 2 against Butler, X, Providence and Nova on the road. Not afraid.

Agreed. I'll have a much better handle on tourney prospects after this upcoming 3-game stretch.
3-0: and I'd be shocked if we miss the tourney barring catastrophic injury(ies)
2-1: 75% chance
1-2: 25% chance (Markus could always go berserk)
0-3: 1% chance

Don't need to.
lol. An 8-10 Big East team - pretty much any of them except PC - probably is going to get in the NCAAT this year.
Most people that do this for a living, or at least follow it more than you, have MU as somewhere in the 7-10 seed range currently. 9-9 is probably somewhere in 8-9 seed range. 8-10 may even avoid Dayton for MU.
Live in less of a bubble, and look at the landscape around you before making ill-informed takes.
I can just see some of the "chest thumpers" coming out of the woodwork and thinking everything is fine if they go 3-0 in the next 3 and then are 4-3. I have news for you...first of all, everything would NOT be okay, even if they do win these net 3...2nd of all, look at who those games are against. They lose Wednesday night and...forgettaboutit.

So complain no matter what. Got it.

Right? I can't be happy if we beat a top 50 team in X? Then win a Quad 1 game at Georgetown?
Sheesh.

So chest thumpers shouldn't celebrate wins, but chronic complainers should continue to whine. Thanks for the life lesson.
I'm concerned about the 1-3 start to conference play, but still hopeful the team can turn it around and soon. Stringing together a few wins would be a good start. Does that make me a chest-thumper? I thought that just made me a Marquette basketball fan.

If you want MU to succeed under Wojo, you're a chest thumper. And not a true MU fan. According to some.
Poll still open
