USF Game
MU FT%: 58.1%
Jerel and Dom: 3-16 combined from the field
7 straight games we've been outrebounded!!!
Get used to these disgusting sets of numbers... we can't shoot free throws... and Team Shrimp can't rebound against 3 guys a foot taller than each of them... and also, NEWSFLASH, our guards can't shoot, let alone hit 3s (kudos to Wes' great shooting last night, but it was a once in a lifetime anomoly)! Our best 3 point shooter is our power forward, and we desperately need him mixing it up in the middle! We have deficiencies, yes, but we just gotta get in, win, and get out and who's the wiser? Jay Bilas? Digger? We can hang around the top 25 and get a nice seed come tourney time, so long as the powers that be don't actually WATCH any of our games. Just PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't have a first round tourney exit again. Find a way to sneak into the sweet 16 so I don't start sympathizing with those clowns asking for Tom Crean's resignation! Thank you!

"Don't pollute my post, instigator."
- That was a pretty funny post. The post was made even better by the fact that it did not include a made up word like "habidashery." Perhaps you meant, "haberdashery," which when correctly used as a noun would render your initial sentence completely non-sensical. How someone gave that word the hip new meaning it has attached nowadays is beyond me.
Habidashery... 1:51AM? The Vicodin must've just been kicking in... I get bored sometimes and like to make up words. All words are essentially arbitrary anyway, and you knew what I meant, so what's the difference? I know better, grammatically-speaking, I just choose, when the mood strikes, to communicate utilizing my own set of rules. Under "Hobbies", I generally list "neologisms" first.

I agree with most the points you made. But going into last night, we were actually in second place. Rebounding I really do agree though, we are in trouble, and if we dont get better, LOU will give us trouble again.
FYI, everyone noticed DOMs bad night at the FT line yesterday, someone I know told me as they were packing up their instruments, Dom was out there shooting FTs. I like to see that he went right to it, even b4 leaving the BC

i think TC had something to do with Dom out there shooting FTs after the game. Probably punishment for his atrocious performance.

Could have been, but it looked like Dom was pushing everything left...maybe a wrist issue? It also looked like he got hit hard in the midsection, that part was confirmed in the AP story

Despite what seems to be the popular opinion around here Dom is in fact a hard worker. How do we know he didn't go out there on his own?
DJ shooting at the BC was confirmed by Rosiak's blog late last night..
QuoteWhile his teammates and eventually coach Tom Crean made their way into the press room for post-game interviews, Dominic James was out on Al McGuire Court at the Bradley Center, hoisting up free throws with a manager rebounding while workers tore down the surrounding set-up.

Neologisms. Good word. Well played.
