To take you out of your comfort zone, only post things YOU LIKE about Wojo. This may blow up, but it may actually cause creative thinking. So, we will see.
- He, or the staff he is responsible for, has demonstrated an ability to recruit highly rated talent
- He seems to be a good representative of the university through his public behavior
- The players he identifies and recruits for the men's basketball team appear to be good representatives of the university
I hear he has a really nice Christmas display in his front yard with blue and gold lights.

That the neighbors hung up for him.

I would concur.
What about the DONTKNOJOS?
I staunchly don't think he's the right guy, which is unfortunate. But there are some of things for me:
1. Character of the program - starting with Markus
2. Recruiting job - better than Buzz for sure
3. Willingness to try new things to make the team better
4. Trust in players / putting the game in the players' hands (mind you I think this hurts at times)
5. Youth / vitality of himself and the coaching staff (I like that they play with them in practice... or used to)
6. The way he's bought in to MU (different than Buzz)
Thanks for posting this on a Friday
@Rocky ban me please so I don't have to build on these

I'm glad I peeked in on this thread to see this comment. Well done, Doc!

+1 To all of this.
I would add:
-I respect his enthusiasm and emotion on the sidelines/whiteboards
-I like that despite being in K's shadow for 1.5 decades, he was willing to switch things up in that he was willing to try zone (before K did)
-Wojo is well connected at the college- and pro levels
-Markus (and the good PR that he brings)
-Other teams, e.g., UNLV, VTech seemed genuinely excited about possibly getting him
-5-seed is good, I'm happy with that if it's consistent
I like:
#thething
When offense is clicking they are very fun to watch
I'm closer to sosojo though but definitely not a projo or blojo.

I agree wholeheartedly. Off the court is an A to me (as a frequent on court critic). Whatever my frustrations are, I think he and the players represent MU well and I genuinely like all of our players from what we see of them publicly. That's a big part of what I'd like to see as a MU alum. If we can consistently get to second weekend tourney status woth occassional deeper runs, I'm sold.
I don't think he should be fired, but I have been quite critical, so:
Wojo and staff seem to have a knack for identifying talent at the high school level, and early on. Sounds like getting in early was a huge reason Garcia committed.
He got the first McDonald's AA in 30 years in his first full class. He probably wouldn't have gotten him unless Wally came along, so he picked him up too. That's what it takes sometimes, and Wojo went for it.
Good kids, good representatives of the university. He appears to have a great respect for the university as well.
I think Wojo's expectations for the program are pretty well in line with mine. I think he's working hard to meet them.
He values shooting. I loved Buzz, but that was one thing he wasn't huge on.

+1. I'm not really a NoJo'er. I'm frustrated and disappointed, and I think justifiably so, but have to concede the good points identified.

The other Doc (Blackheart) not only scooped you on this angle, but was much funnier than you. Try harder, my friend.
Trust me, 'Never's got the inside dope on this one. He da man.
I dont think you can have it all. I dont think you can have a very successful basketball team that has no internal issues and reflects the university in a good light. That being said I am happy with the job Wojo has done to make the bball team consist of players we are happy to have represent MU. Cant say the same about a lot of "successful" bball programs out there.

He's Wojo's hedge trimmer too? I thought he only landscaped stalked Crean?
-I would like to add Sacar Anim's development to this list.
He has progressed nicely under Wojo, probably more than he would have with the mere passage of time.
