THE ANSWER
Coin flip for me between Sacar and Cain.
Cain
8 points, 12 rebounds, 2 steals and played within control. Good to see.
Cain
BIG DADDY CAIN
Sacar. He built the big lead for us in the first half. Cain played the best once we were on cruise control.
1. Sacar
2. Jamal
3. Theo
Cain. Outstanding performance.
Hauser bros, for revealing that Markus is a cancer and being proven right
Jamal Cain
Honorable Mention
Sacar Anim
Cain, though after that second half, no one really deserves it.
Cain with Gregg and jayce in consideration

That's silly, brewski; surprised it came from you. There are two halves in every basketball game, sources say, and Marquette's fine first half let them cruise through a foul-filled, less-effective second half.
I really, really liked Cain's energy all night long, but Sacar set the tone in a solid first half and, after McEwen melted down and Torrence didn't capitalize on his opportunity, Sacar did A-OK playing an unfamiliar PG role.
Cain.
Cain
Jamal. If not, Sacar.

The RPI no longer exists.
Cain
Cain - despite his isolation defense posture.
Thought there would be more support for Sacar. Besides his strength while the game was being decided, he did a more than passable job at the point when pressed into service.

Cain
Sacar scored but he does not rebound n his defense has been lackluster
Sacar
Sacar
Jamal had a nice night, but he did most of his damage while we were cruising with a 20-point lead.

We were projected to win by 20. We won by 19 on a meaningless last second 3. Without Markus. It's fine.
I'd go Sacar. Would be fine with Cain. Jayce provided some good minutes.
Jamal
Wojo.

Kane. Cane. Kain. Cain.

I'll go with Sacar, although would have no complaints if Jamal got it. HM to Sy, 4 assists, 0 TOs in 14 minutes is a solid line.
Cain.
Sacar if he had kept his game rolling into the second half, but there was a big different in first half Sacar and second half Sacar.

I agree with this 100%. Sacar was asked to fill a role he doesn't have to play much and did a nice job. Plus he set the tone early and have us enough cushion to take the pressure off the rest of the team. Really good game from him.
I think the bar is set pretty high for him, though, so he doesn't get the same kind of appreciation for a good game other guys. As a fifth year senior, I get that. But I think some may have set the bar a little too high for him, which then makes some fans overly critical of Sacar.
Loved Anim's game and shifting into a different role in the 2nd half, but I thought Cain played well/steady through the entire game. Going with Cain (could be a dual award?).
Sacar.......not only did he set the tone in the first half when the game was won....but he was the steadying influence when Koby went off the rails and then fouled out........then when Sy got into foul trouble Sacar pretty much had to play the point most of the 2nd half.
Cain is ready willing and able to garner this honor.

Crap, I'm really slacking...
I agree... someone needs to get it and Cain makes sense. Sacar right on his heels.
