And Ed Hightower was on the crew. Surprise, surprise.
Really hard to establish any type of flow offensively when there are that many whistles. Also hard to force turnovers and get out in transition when it's being called so tight. Free throw shooting, as well as McNeal's decision making were alarming though. They did a decent job on Gransberry early when they could double down.
Yeah, it wasn't pretty at all. I do like a couple numbers though. 6-13 from three, and only 8 turnovers. Wesley's play was also very encouraging. I'm not gonna panic over this one, but there are some things internally that need to be figured out. DJ has to find it, as does Jerel. Which brings me to a question, why does it seem like Crean will have a quick hook with everyone but McNeal? There were several times in the last few games where I thought Crean needed to pull him, if for nothing else but to reel him in with his shot selection.
Sounds like an NBA game!
