Very curious who made this decision.
Started a thread about it during the season in Superbar under Men's and Women's soccer if interested.
He had missed NCAA's 5 of last 6 seasons. Had a good run of 12 of 18 NCAA's after taking a few years to get it going. Trending in the wrong direction for some time. Program also had a very noticeable lack of diversity in an era when it is common place.
It's a good time for a change.
I give you guys credit for even having a clue about the women's soccer program

Totally Agree. My Son texted me on this. Markus had a long distinguished incredibly awesome career. Making the NCAAs 13 out of 18 seasons. But as you say time for a change.
On to the Superbar but Marquette Men's Soccer winning 1-0 at DePaul with about 20 minutes left to go to the Big East Tourney. Go Marquette!

Still needed last place Villanova to win or draw at Seton Hall, which they did tonight, 1-0. MU gets the 6th (last) seed and plays at Providence Saturday morning.
Thank God!!! Basically been mailing it in for about 5 years now. Hopefully he can take Bennet with him. Bennett was once a very good coach, but deperately needs to be fired. MU Soccer has become a joke, both Men's n Women's
