MU jumps four spots
On the strength of its victory over DePaul on Saturday, MU moved up four spots from 21st to 17th in the Associated Press' media poll, which was released on Monday afternoon.
Interestingly, the Golden Eagles will play their 500th game as an AP-ranked team on Tuesday night when they host South Florida at 7.

In the media guides they always give the old UPI poll as well. When did that fade out and the ESPN/Coaches poll come in?

Also since the Cincinnati Bearcats have decided to revive basketball (probably since they were placed on the dead to me board) they will be resurrected and replaced with Juan Felix who never achieved anything remotely close to the 31 points (8-11 on three pointers) he put up on Marquette off the bench in the first round of the NCAA tourney two years ago.
