First edition of this season's traditional transfer tracker. Brace yourself, some of the names will be a kick in the nads.
Wow, lots of little guys on that list.

It's been a rough couple of years in Berkeley. While never a true basketball power, Cal was always a respected name in the college basketball world. This changed after former Coach Cuonzo Martin left a steaming crater behind when he jumped after only three years on the job.Wow. Talk about dodging a bullet.
Yes, some of the other leading candidates for the Marquette job when Buzz left have performed far worse than Wojo.
It is always good to hear that we reached out to one of No Dick's washouts.

Next update is done. Not a lot of action this week, likely due to finals.

What is your view to MU chances with Jemarl ?
Magic 8 ball says: "Ask again later"
At this point is it safe to say UW is the 'safety school' for the Hausers? They have seen the campuses and spoken to the coaches- if UW was their first choice, they would have already declared.
Seems like the are awaiting a scholarship to become available at either MSU or UVA.
Any chance Sam could have a change of heart, and stay at MU? This is where he belongs!!!!

I think they are going to MSU tomorrow.

I'd put the chances of a Sam change of heart higher than a Joey change of heart. That said, I don't think I'd give them more than a 5% chance, if that.

Only the Hausers know for sure. Im not sure safety school is the right phrase. But I do wonder if Wisconsin isn't either brothers first choice.
Delaware freshman guard Ithiel Horton has entered the transfer portal. Averaged 13.2 ppg/3.1 rpg shot shooting 41.1% from three. 6'3" shooting guard that will probably get high major interest. Wonder if Killings knows him...

I just posted this in the other thread, should have put it here. I would be all over this kid..exactly what you want in a transfer...3 years left, and can really shoot it.

Niels Lane going to Roselle Catholic this year so maybe we can have a reunion.
Horton is interesting. He had no ranking in the 247 composite and 9 scholarship offers, all low or mid major. Now high majors want him.
This is why it pays not to burn the 13th scholarship on a grad transfer that will barely play. A better player may unexpectedly pop up.
Any updates on the kid from Stanford we reached out to?

Everything has been quiet on him...hasn't even released a list of visits or anything like that.

Horton visiting Arkansas (not sure how they are still recruiting, they were oversigned by 3 at one point) and Pitt. No mention of Marquette in this article.

Holy Cross' best player, Jacob Grandison, entered the transfer portal. Sophomore with 14 points, 5 boards, 3 assists a game and 37% 3P shooting. Part of Brett Nelson's buyout?

Was a classic late bloomer. Hopefully Brett can convince him to stay.
The Johnnies exploit a loop hole and pick up an immediately eligible transfer

The author misunderstood the new transfer rules. The "loophole" as you put it, is for incoming freshman, not transfers.
Dunn is supposedly applying for a hardship waiver to allow him to be immediately eligible. Unless there's something going on in his personal life, he doesn't fit the criteria for any waiver I know about. However, the NCAA is more lax these days and I could see them taking pity on Dunn and not making him redshirt two seasons in a row. So he's not immediately eligible yet.
Meanwhile, they lost one of their incoming transfers, Eli Wright.
