What the big money donors at MU are thinking today, and how much power/influence will they wield going forward. I'd imagine they are NOT real happy.

Yeah, don't think this was part of the Power Point.
Oh, after reading the subject line, I thought this was gonna say: "If we need another thread on this subject."

Depends on the actual reason for the departure.
Are you a big money donor guru?

Maybe some of them are happy.
Methinks you overestimate the power/influence donors have. Or grossly misinterpret coincidence for causation.
Who gives a flying F where they end up??????
Let today be known as Burning Gold Vest day.

Not by any stretch but I have donated for many years now...rethinking that after today.

That sounds like something that someone lacking toughness would say

The team found out last Wednesday. I cant believe it was under wraps that long.

Do you have any more details you would mind sharing?
Also, if true, this was before Markus publicly announced he would be back. Suppose Markus could have told team/staff a couple days before public announcement.
As well, everyone knew before banquet.

Were the hausers leaving regardless of Howard's decision?
Season Ticket holder I know had a lunch with team last week. She texted me today saying the team had found out earlier in the day that day. She didnt mention to anyone until news broke.
Joey and Sam were at this lunch.
Still seems odd they were at this lunch with team after telling everyone.
Thats what I know.
I just read Stan's tweets from the last 5 days. Pretty telling in hindsight.

I wouldn't put much stock in that. He tweets a ton of inspirational quote stuff that in hindsight can often sound super cryptic. Go back 3, 6, 12 months, and you'll see a bunch of similar posts.
Maybe I'm reading into things too much, but if you look back at Markus's tweet announcing his decision to stay he says, "Looking forward to next season with this team." Seems strange he didn't just say "the team." semantics?

This one stuck out:
You can't hold people accountable if you aren't willing to be held accountable.
Leaders set the tone. Humility first.
