Posted in other thread but Butler in the Crossroads Classic. I believe they'll have Purdue next year.
Thanks, I caught it when I put this on Cracked Sidewalks & came back to fix it here. I imagine a lot more will come out in the next month.
Do we know the timeframe when the Big East/Big 12 series will be played?

Not yet, just teams. The four existent series (MU/KSU, Nova/KU, OK/Creighton, PC/Texas) all took place in December, between 12/1 and 12/21. So if I were to guess, probably one of those weeks, but they haven't been announced.
Any word on MU's missing tounrment in 2021 or whatever year that is?

I believe the missing year was 2022, possibly in hopes of getting a PK85 invite.
Based on names alone, the Battle for Atlantis is stacked next year.
On the flip side, Nova's tournament in Myrtle Beach is a snoozefest (but TAMU and Brew can tell me why I'm wrong and why those teams will actually be legit.)

At a quick glance, I'm with you. Nova should be able to sleepwalk their way to a title. Miss State might be okay, Baylor too, but no one on par with the Cats.

PK85 sounds cool and all, but I was hoping (and hearing about from someone in the program) Battle4Atlantis.
I was told that Marquette will host a Gavitt Game in 2019. Here is hoping for Michigan State!
As exciting as it is to get a Gavitt Game, we are 0-3 with the average margin of defeat of 22 points in them so far. Here's hoping that we buck that trend next year.
Villanova will host Army.
Providence will host Penn.

Michigan Srate has never played in the games so they will be playing the next 4 years so based on previous scheduling it would make sense for a Marquette vs. Michigan St matchup. Another option would be Iowa who hasn't played in past 2 years.

If the Bears' transfers come together, that could be a really strong add. They have to replace three senior starters, but on paper have the pieces to do it. I think they're a dark horse contender in the MVC.
Butler will host Morehead State
Xavier will host Lipscomb

Not sure if expected or not but Krampelj and Minitz from Creighton announced today they're goinf to draft. Big blow for Creighton.

Testing the waters. I'm sure Mintz is back. Krampelj probably too. He may elect to move on since he's already graduated, but it's not to the NBA.

It's believed in Creighton circles that Krampelj is gone for good. Mintz would seem likely to come back

Got it. Misunderstood some previous posts around here about that topic then. I thought people were saying that Sam couldn't declare and go back to school due to the timing of Markus' announcement.

If they requested an evaluation by April 11, which doesn't have to be announced publicly, they can return, though wasn't the deadline to announce April 21?
I assume these guys filed paperwork & held off on a public announcement, but there's a lot of people announcing after the deadline unless I'm misinterpreting what I read.

Yah, that is what I thought.

So there's a chance Xavier could play Missouri State twice this non-conference. I always find it funny when those things happen.
Yes-and with the possibility of that happening twice in a week!

MU had that in 2011 against Norfolk State. Won first game at the BC by 99-68 and narrowly won 7 days later 57-55 as Kyle O'Quinn erupted for NS after being shut down by MU in the rout in the first game.

That game in Puerto Rico was why I picked NSU to beat Mizzou. That's the biggest NCAA upset I ever got right.

I always figured that was at least part of it.
Marquette does come out pretty fast. Most years it's at the end of June or early July. That's is pretty fast when they don't play in an arena that they own.
Also, Kansas is the 8th of 353 non-conference schedules that has come out.
