Title: Sweating Growler of Skunk Beer...
Post by: Dr. Blackheart on March 27, 2019, 08:45:41 AM
Let's put it down for a minute and reflect on some personal high points of the season.

For me, it was the Buffalo game and having four generations of Warriors there seeing Markus play a game for the ages.

That was great -- we played them tough & even as a team and then Markus went nuts.  Really one of the best individual scoring performances I have ever seen in college -- particularly in a segment of a half.

Ditch the glass growler and spring for stainless steel.

Same day delivery with Prime.  In fact, I'm ordering one right now.

I thought the UW-Madison win was a good one.  Markus wasn't very good, but others stepped up at key points to slay the red menace.  Ed rejecting Happ was pretty cool.  The fact that UW-Madison fans had difficulty getting tickets only made the experience even better particularly for their cheerleader media.

That sounds good until the growler filler can't see the fill level and gives you a short pour stopping when the foam reaches the rim.

Raised Grain I'm looking at you.

The game @Creighton. I was about to mark that as a loss when an improbable comeback put it into OT, and then Markus ended it with surgical precision.

As a bonus, my daughter was able to witness Markus' amazing performance in person.

When I turned the TV off at some point in the second half when the only question was how great would be the humiliation.

For I knew that the agony of a season imploding around Wojo was over and that no longer would we be forced to choke down the bitter broth of defeat.

No more would we have to endure Wojo's "Dan Quayle in the headlights look" of confusion, despair, and hopelessness as yet another less talented but better led team began to assert itself.

Even better than stainless steel (which cannot be used at growler shops who used pressurized filling nozzles that inject CO2 to keep beer fresh longer) is this one. My wife bought it for me as a Christmas gift, it's awesome and worth every penny.

My personal highlight was taking a week off work and flying up for K state, UTEP, and Bucky. While in town I also went to the MU volleyball playoff match,  a bucks vs Pistons game, and the packer vs Falcons game. The good guys (and gals) went 6-0 that week.

True, but a win has become so commonplace that I consider a complete and utter vanquish over Bucky the same as popping an in-grown hair.
