Title: Every Expert Will Pick Murray St.
Post by: Dish on March 17, 2019, 06:03:04 PM
...and it doesn't matter. Every tv talking head that hasn't watched more than 2 college games will pick Murray St. They all have heard of Morant and Racers will be the easy/lazy national pick.

Don't let it bother you, none of that crap matters. If anything, Woj can use the "nobody believes in us" card.

Bring it.  Team plays better as the underdog.

Yep. And we got a cat that can drop 40+ at a moments notice. Hopefully getting away from BE refs allow Markus to get free more often and do his thing

This is so interesting because it was largely believed that if Murray State had not won its conference it would not make the tourney at all.  And indeed, if you look at their schedule they have not really beat anyone this year - lost to the only power conferences they played, Alabama and LSU.  I'll leave it to others who know where to find the details of Q1-Q4, but it's a head scratcher (outside of Ja Morant) why they're the popular upset pick.

Alabama and Auburn. Both were single digit losses though, for what that's worth.

Here are the team sheets.
