Fans are destroying that idiot. Almost universally people saying worst game they have ever seen officiated after Davis mouths off in a ridiculous fashion.

That's Lanny's boy!
Surprised he didn't toss in a "it's a tough job and all refs should be commended for it"
Stfu you ignorant ass

I don't think I've ever seen all of Twitter agree on something. Every single comment to this tweet agrees he is wrong haha.

If you are going to write to the Big East, or tweet....this is what needs to be sent....that tweet and all the responses. People can't agree on anything, but in this case it is near universal what a shat show that was.

Seth Davis 2020
Just quickly scrolling through, I saw fans from Nova, DePaul, St. John's and several neutral fans commenting on how awful the officiating was.
But Seth – who did not see the game – thought it was fine. :o
The only complaint I have is on the technical play (which was massive). We lost 2 players and they lost 1. Other than that, it was officiated bad but even. We got a lot of foul calls at the end of the game that were fouls but sometimes aren't called.

That doesn't make it ok. You don't have to be discriminated or biased against by the refs for it to be a clown show effort by a couple hacks. Marquette has gotten the benefit of bad officiating this year, as everyone has. The point is there is no consistency or accountability and the result is this BS on the conference's largest stage
Seton Hall got three questionable Ts as well. I have no idea what the officials were doing out there.

The refs were bad both ways but there's no comparison on how much worse they affected us

I imagine Willard would not have complimented the officials for doing a "good job" had Markus made that last shot.
Most remarkable is that Seth tweeted that right after he tweeted questioning the refs.

Or had they called the contact on the last shot.

i still don't know why their coach was T'd up for suggesting a player travelled. Tv showed a lengthy clip and there was nothing but a long tie.

You can't hang on the rim and play the ball, Seth Davis is truly an idiot. The other day he made another ridiculous call and got killed on Twitter.

Because he was at midcourt doing it.

oooooohhhh. Thank you. I was baffled. Truly baffled. Announcers never mentioned the reason that I heard and I didn't notice how far out he was. I'm not sure where that came in the 8 T's for the night but I'd say that one could have been a warning in a game where tensions were high. Refs were bad.

By that point they had lost control of the game. Had no idea what to do so to make it "fair" they just blew the whistle a lot until they passed out. Utterly embarrassing officiating.

that touch foul that sent Marcus to the line to bring us within 1 was comical for sure.

Best explanation all night.
Reading all the responses to his tweet brings me back some small fraction of joy lost last night. So good.

I was having the same reaction until I got to the tweets by the Seton Hall fan who said Theo clearly showed
malicious intent and then I was teleported back to the same emotional state I was in last night.

Lots of Scoopers, too. I see you, pbiflyer 8-)
I don't do the Twitter thing, but just wondering if he watched the game and updated his comments about the officiating yet.
If he wants to regain any shred of credibility, the least he should do is watch the game.

He has tweeted a number of times since but nothing about our game. Just about Duke and about himself.
More Seth Davis, he says Buzzard going to Texas A&M is likely in his article in the Athletic.
