I assumed it was the person next to Markus or a journalist that graduated from MU (ie. Charles Pierce). I'd be surprised if he graduated already.
Did everyone hear that soliloquy on Wojo's defensive adjustments? Is Wojo a good coach again? Do we have to wait 5 games to judge?
Did Sacar get up and leave at around 7:15 mark??
Papa bear gets a little protective of his cubs.
I don't think it's a huge deal but I wonder what that was about.
I'm guessing, but very possible he was just pulled into another interview. I saw he was on pretty quickly post game with John Fanta on the Big East digital site.

Yep.
I'm not one to toot my own horn, so to speak, so I bring this up more to suggest that Coach Wojo may read Scoop after all....but I had said here how our 4-game skid produced a lot of NOISE, and that we may be unwittingly creating a March monster.
Your Welcome, Coach.

No. John Paquette is the Associate Commissioner of the Big East and oversees Sports Media Relations. He was running the press conference as part of his job.
Paquette is a Marquette grad '78, journalism

Shout out to anyone and everyone entrusted with getting our Conference positioned for this launch and sustained run of not just relevance, but excellence. Their marketing job is made easier by the vision of its original founding and reincarnation as a hoops-only venture. The BigEast sells itself, yes, but those who represent us do so with class and aptitude. Great to have a Marquette guy in a pivotal role.

I would be surprised if he graduated
already (a.k.a. December), but it would not surprise me in the least if he graduates in May/August.
