Title: Last team to make NCAA tournament losing 5 straight
Post by: Warrior of Law on March 09, 2019, 06:57:08 PM
Ironically, Villanova in 2011. Their losses, by contrast, were versed ranked teams.  Earned a #8 seed in NCAA; early exit to #9 George Mason.

I can't see this team magically coming out of this tailspin and making a run. Maybe if we'd lost two in a row but four? That's soul and confidence crushing. Sure hope they prove me wrong

If they bow out of the BET and NCAA in round 1, they'll finish with 6 losses to end a season.  Not sure that's ever happened in the modern age of MU hoops.
