Ladies and gentlemen... Jim McIlvaine and John Scott Lewinski will have the pleasure of interviewing former Marquette head Coach Kevin O'Neill this weekend. If there are any questions you might like asked, please suggest them below. Will do our best to work them into the interview.
Take care.
Who would you say was the most important recruit you got come to Marquette and why.
Looking back, which university do you feel supports the men's basketball program better, Marquette or Tennessee?
What did you enjoy better, coaching at the college or pro level?
How would you rate where the Marquette program is now?
interesting-this marq'd men thing-Where is that taped? When is it taped? where could it be viewed or
listened to live? What are the subjects that Jim and his buddy discuss?
great questions norm! that reminds me-
one of my favorite normie quotes-
whatcha up to norm?
norm: "my ideal weight if i were 11 feet tall" ;D
Id like to know in hindsight if he feels he made a mistake by leaving
And what were his reasons for leaving when he seemingly had the program rolling pretty well.
Seemingly pretty good questions silverback. Why in the hell would u come on here n ask fir questions and then turn around and ask one question? Great guest, thx mac, crappy questions tho.
Is Lawrence still on the jet ski in the middle of the ocean?
This will be easy, can you get him to rock some profanity?

Dumb
Kevin, is Jon the most annoying poster on muscoop?
Ouch!
Kevin, is Norm the 'serious guy' in the office who thinks the other guys are "immature jerks" or is he merely a humorless, unimaginative guy who asks insipid questions?
Nope, just got annoyed with 9 posts that could have been wrapped up in 3. Its like listening to my son who doesn't know when to quit when he's stopped being funny.
How did he learn to win without Anthony Candilino? JD wants to know.
Why won't he play Mac, Damon & Ron Curry together.
I'll hang up and listen to your answer.
Why LA Gear?
Was there any amount of success he could've had in that 93 appearance or the 94 run that could've kept him at MU? Especially with the hindsight of them getting into CUSA and then the Big East?
I think someone forgot to take his multivitamin.

When KO asked if he could dribble, the old man whipped out his saliva ejector tube. Even KO thought that was a little odd and so he cooled on the kid.
What was the first swear word you heard?
Have you every met anyone that could out-cuss yourself?
Can KO share how the name change went down from Warriors.
If the job is somehow open next year, would he come back
What's different coaching elite basketball today vs. 20 years ago
Is it possible to run a 100% clean program, and what are the advantages / disadvantages?
Outside of the blue bloods - what's the best coaching job in college basketball?

Shannon Smith.....opine
Jim could probably lead into this question, but what was it like at that time opening the 90-91 season at Duke with the three freshmen? In some ways, I find it interesting my MU college life bookended with losses to the Blue Devils, but when you take everything that happened in the four years in between, is it easier to look back on the journey and go, "Yeah, it was pretty good..."?
