The Knicks plan to sign forward Henry Ellenson for rest of season once his 10-day contract expires on weekend, league sources tell ESPN. Ellenson (13 points, nine rebounds, five assists) made impression in victory over Magic. Ellenson was 18th overall pick to Pistons in 2016.
Great news for Henry. He got his opportunity and showed up in a big way.
Awesome, glad he made such a good impression. Per Woj there's also a team option for next year so if he does well to finish the year he should have a good chance to get the option picked up.
The second he gets away from the Pistons, he performs.
Is the correct to conclude that the Pistons are incompetent?
Fantastic news.

Khris Middleton says yes.

Kind of the perfect spot for Henry at this moment. Get a good chunk of playing time without the pressure of the team actually trying to win every game, hit enough outside shots to impress, and have his option picked up. Presumably next year the Knicks get at least one big FA (KD), and possibly even Zion, too. HE's playing time will take a big hit, but hey, he's still in the league.
13/5 tonight and in at crunch time. Happy for him. I'm sure he has been questioning his future.

He played very good again with exception of fouls. Played down the stretch and Knicks had the lead on a Henry three, then Jordan Clackson went ballistic for the Cavs.
