Hayward on mismatch list
Fran Fraschilla of ESPN, lists Lazar Hayward as one of his top six mismatch forwards in college basketball.
Hayward, who is often going against much larger players in the paint, has been able to use his quickness to his advantage this season, especially at the offensive end.
Fraschilla on Hayward: Hayward has become a "mismatch forward" by necessity. When an injury sidelined freshman Trevor Mbakwe for the season, Hayward embraced the idea of battling bigger, more physical forwards in the Big East with guile as much as anything else. He's shooting 55 percent inside the arc and his ability to shoot 47 percent from the three-point line keeps the floor spread for Tom Crean's guards to attack the basket with the dribble.
Big East foe Geoff McDermott, (one of the best post passers in the league) is also on Fraschilla's list.
