The win last night gave Marquette 22 on the season, the most in Wojo's tenure. It happened with up to 14 games left to play this season.
I think I speak for everyone when I say that I am not closed to satisfied. Go out and get us 14 more!
Here's the kind of guy I am ... I'd settle for only 12 or 13 more. (As long as they're the right 12 or 13.)
Very happy about the progress of our program under our fine basketball coach.
Very good chance we break the program record for wins (27 I believe) this year as well.
The season retrospective is going to be something to behold
When it happens, all of the fire Wojo threads have to be brought out and pinned to the top of the board.
Most ever BE wins by Wojo too.

Yes, so hard to believe after reading Posters after the IU loss.

Oh yeah! I can't wait to look back and think how dumb I was for thinking we would MAYBE get 24 wins. (Which knock on wood) we should still get.
But the right people to say "hey man... look at what the team did! Look at what Wojo did! Look at what the assistant coaches did! Look at the fan turnout and student turnout! Look at how great player X was off the bench!!" To. Those people won't be around to hear it at the end of the season. Because they fear the winning and fear being wrong about Wojo.
Or they are just unhappy cause we didn't go undefeated.

Yep. Wojo has done a terrific job, not just this season, but his entire tenure by patiently building the program his way. The trajectory has been consistently in the right direction.
Amazing to think we could see a new program record for wins....

FWIW, the program record is 28. We were 28-1 in 1970-71, with the only loss coming in a very controversial game against tOSU.

Yep, that loss was in the NCAAs when the Dream fouled out mostly on offensive fouls as OSU guys would stop on a dime in front of him in transition to draw a charge. That was also the only game MU ever lost with Jim Chones on the court.
Wow that's amazing, glad I know that

Yeah, pretty phenomenal that we were 50-1 with Chones.

Almost like that game was a wake-up call for Wojo as well as the team. He was out-prepared and out-coached, and boy did he and his team ever respond. Bravo!
Take care of business each game...it's @Providence season.....

Yep a good phase to use Wake Up Call.
