(Although, evidently Rocky has the 'no bots' command turned on since a lot of known goodies aren't coming through... so it won't be a complete history, but enough to tide you over until ZFB can post his suggestion.)
Going to enjoy CBB calmly, without getting worked up into my usual shrieking lather when we commit an unforced turnover or something.
Also: #8 MU WBB vs St. John's tonight at 6pm CST.
Will be interested in Weekend BE results.
also going to play with how to format tables and insert pictures into Scoop.
I got the pics to work before but last time wouldn't work.
Also formatted a table before but I've forgotten how to and want to do it quickly if needed.
Don't worry about posting how-tos...there are links on scoop and google....will just play with it until I get it.
I plan on spending the weekend splitting hairs and losing my crap with whoever disagrees with me.
I'm going to discuss whether free throws matter and if we should be recruiting players who light girls' hair on fire.

That's actually google AdSense bringing the hammer down. I try to appease them. Somebody has to pay for this site! (Thanks thousands of guests!)
Oh, and to the original question. By doing taxes.

This...and yelling at kids to get off my lawn.
Guess that makes it like pretty much every other weekend.
Probably some PBR and twitter porn for me.
Maybe some red dead 2 if the kids let me have the xbox.
The NBA All-Star Game festivities are in Charlotte this weekend. I'm not going to any of them, and I probably won't watch much of them on TV (maybe some of the Sat night stuff - I always like the 3-point contest).
But I did coach in an NBA-run clinic for middle-schoolers today and I will be helping with the kids' skills competitions on Sat and Sun.
That'll be plenty of basketball for me!
Fire up the smoker!!!!
Probably do our taxes.

Do you do them yourself or just prepare and give to accountant?

If you can't do your taxes yourself, what the F good is a Marquette education!?!
(and no, mine aren't easy, LLC/Parnership taxes to do, income in 2 states, and rental income).

Idk, I'm looking forward to a weekend away where my heart can recover from the stress of last Saturday

I do them myself. I am a CPA, after all.
I use H&R Block.
Golf Saturday and Sunday, probably will go see "They Shall Not Grow Old" (WW1 documentary) Saturday night.

Is Call of Duty still a thing? For an old guy I was pretty good about 10 years ago.

It is, but now you can like jump off walls and crap. Not like older stuff.
Thx, I'd love to get back to it some day but figure the controllers have gotten a little too complicated for me. Used to love playing capture the flag with the kids.

That's only Modern Warfare series which is garbage.
Call of Duty WW2 has none of that, and the only thing the new Black Ops 3 has is like a slide. I was always terrible at COD, could never see anybody.

Slides are great, but personally, log flumes and Ferris wheels are more fun.

You deserve it.
Watch the St. John's / Vill game tomorrow and hope they beat the $hit out of each other......

I switched from TurboTax to H&R Block a few years ago because at one point TurboTax wouldn't transfer my history to my new return and I had to add it all back in, so I switched next year out of spite. Every year, I wait for when they offer my a half price deal and I get another 10% from EBates.

I've kept up with COD, trying to keep the skills so I can destroy my kids one day. COD is entirely dependant of the the developer.
The rerelease of MW2 was heaven. Nothing like throwing up consistent 40&6s like it's 2009.

Finally gave up the fight two years ago and hired an accountant. Glad I did.

EBates is the bomb! I joined several years ago, and have received over a grand back for stuff I was gonna buy anyway. Especially awesome when you get a sale price on the item you're buying, then another bunch back from EBates. #freemoney

We've been doing something similar with Upromise for college savings going on probably 10+ years. Saved over $12K thus far in 529 plan over the years with buying stuff we were going to buy anyway (gas, groceries, etc), going to specific restaurants, using Upromise credit card, etc. Requires discipline, but adds up over time.

Just got my #NoMUBB Weekend fix by rewatching the '94 UK game.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=03JLFqFvtkA
Been a long time since I've watched, but Miller's press-breaking was as phenomenal as I had remembered it. His shredding of the UK press was one of MU's best-ever individual performances in the Dance.
I had forgotten that McIlvaine had 2 fouls in the first 5 minutes, and how we didn't miss a beat when McCaskill came off the bench. And then KOs brilliant strategy to have McIlvaine run out to contest every UK 3 in the latter part of the game - UK was hitting 3s and had all the momentum, but then started throwing up airballs when they saw Mac bearing down on them. Brilliant strategy by KO, brilliant execution by Mac.
Solid contributions by Key and Eford as well.
If you're a MU fan and have never watched this game, do yourself a favor and check it out.

I remember Glow pacing the floor of our living room the entire game. It was very stressful for him.

We were living in Richmond at the time and the local station was airing the UNC-BC game, so we watched at a sports bar. It was basically us and a couple hundred UK fans.
Got pretty noisy when UK made its big second half run, but things (mostly) quieted down toward the end. :)

As I stated multiple times, when my last is out of high school then that opportunity presents itself. As much as you referenced me when I wasn't here, I'm a bit disappointed you already forgot. So nothing has happened nor was it ever going to until last child finishes...as I said all along.

Wait - does this have anything to do with your children?
Seriously...any concrete plans for your next stop? Thought you might've mentioned TX once?

I've had opportunity to relocate to Texas, but declined due to moving youngest from high school. I'm waiting until last child leaves high school until I leave California, something I've said before but Lenny remembers quotes I made (incorrectly) but doesn't remember that. LOL. My ultimate last stop will be hear....God willing if he doesn't take me before I get there...

The question is whether there is a stop before the final retirement stop, and a lot of that will depend on health of a parent currently and some other familial health considerations. But California cannot be in the rear view mirror fast enough.
