Yeet
He will go to the draft, find out he isn't drafted, and come back to play his senior year.
I'll bet he pulls his name without a first round grade and returns. He'll definitely enter and go to some workouts, though. I don't see him risking his senior year for a non-guaranteed deal.
When he pulls his name will it be Markus or Marcus?
I say SaM stays. Not sure about JoEy.
I voted yes, maybe, no.
Why can you select up to three options?
A pole by a trOll.
I selected:
'Yes' and 'He won't go to the draft'
We need a poll on whether we should be allowed to select more than 1 option in polls.

We need a poll on whether we should be allowed to select more than 1 option in polls.
But we'd have to allow users the ability to select more than one option in that poll until the results are known.
Someone (and it might as well be Matt Heldt the Milk Man since he's already started multiple threads on the subject) should start a poll about the number of threads that need to be started about whether Markus (or Marcus) should or will stay for his senior year at Marquette. I'm really surprised this poll hasn't been started. Should there have been only 1 thread about the topic? 2? 17?
We just need more discussion and polling data on this important issue.

Vote early - vote often!
No need for 3 options - maybe seems to cover it.
Why can't I vote for four of the five options?
Why do you need "No" and "He will stay for another year and then go"?

Markus is so young he is automatically granted a 5th year.

I voted maybe. I think you are correct, except he may stay if he expects to be top 40. Some team that he thinks he will fit with, may tell him they will draft him in early in the second round.
For anyone that hasn't voted, I'd point out you can vote for up to 3 options. Be sure to use all of yours!
The latest first round projection from Dauster at NBCSports:
29-30. SHAMORIE PONDS, St. John's, and MARKUS HOWARD, Marquette
I love both of these guys as late first or early second round picks. Ponds has proven to be a much more efficient shooter and unselfish playmaker this season, and I can absolutely see him thriving as a back-up point guard that torches second teams around the NBA. Howard is a full-fledged scorer at 5-foot-11 that is one of the best shooters in the college game, but he struggles with length and athleticism and doesn't have a clear-cut position defensively. He's also younger than Trae Young, and it's not smart to bet against guys that can shoot it the way he can shoot it.

He's projected first round he's bye bye. Ugh lol I still just dont see him lasting in the nba. Need to hand out "please stay markus" shirts on campus

Being projected as one of the last two picks in the first round by one source hardly means that he's gone. Considering that this mock had zero international players and weirdly 2 players at 21 I think mid second round is still a safe bet and if he's only projected there the chances of him coming back are much higher IMO.
Pay no attention to anything Rob Dauster writes about the draft. He's a college basketball writer and has trouble ignoring production at the college level, which does not always translate to the NBA.
Giovany at ESPN is really good. SI is usually good. Pay attention to them.
