I am moving on to 'Nova since STJ's game is almost 24 hrs old.
Question for the experts is, should we be using Bailey more for his defense? I see his blocks from behind and long wing span and I just wonder if he can handle Booth or whoever is hot? Could we not start our normal five and bring him in if we see a Ponds type situation developing before it gets out of hand?
I think to beat 'Nova we may need to test a few more options. Suggestions, thoughts?
I would bet the house that Sacar will be on Booth or whomever has the "hot hand" as the game progresses.

Well that is a safe bet given the past track record.
Similar to years past, I think we match up well with Nova defensively. Sacar has 2 inches and 15 lbs on Booth, and Booth isn't as quick as Ponds is (although just as smart). Paschall is listed at 255, but that seems awfully high to me, I think Sam will be alright there with Joey having a smaller load with Cosby-Roundtree. Theo should be able to stick with Bey, and getting Gillespie will be much easier for Markus.
To answer the OP, I could see Brendan chasing Cremo around for a while, but don't think he will see much of Booth.

I'd be very surprised if Theo guarded anyone but Crosby Roundtree, to start the game at least. Bey is a good shooter and mostly plays in the perimeter

This. Theo will guard DCR when he is in. If he is not, will likely guard Paschall which could be ugly if he's hitting threes. Joey likely takes on Bey who has more 3PMs than 2PMs in conference play. Joey has had success defending stretch fours. Sam takes on Paschall when DCR is in, Jermaine Samuels when he is not. Anim gets the unenviable task of slowing down Booth which leaves Markus to cover Gillespie.
Matchup that make me most nervous is Pachall on Sam/Theo. He can pull Theo out of the paint and he can likely bully Sam in the post. Markus on Gillespie is another one that makes me nervous. Markus does better at guarding slower shooting guard like Gillespie but he has the potential to go nuclear and has a significant height advantage, as does every player Markus guards in the BEast.
To the OP, yes, I think Bailey gets some time guarding Booth. Sacar is the better defender but I can see Bailey's length really disrupting Booth. Bailey can spell Sacar when he needs a breather. I can also so Wojo using a backcourt of Howard, Anim, and Bailey when Nova goes smaller with Cremo.

Good catch, did not realize that he was a threat from deep. Mea cupla

To build on this, found an interesting stat on Gillespie. In the last 8 games including tonight, Gillespie has 3 2P FGs total. He is not going to beat you on the bounce. Stay in his grill, don't let him shoot, and for the love of god don't help off of him.

Great stat, perfect assignment for Howard
I'm sure Wright will use screens to get matchup advantages for Booth and Paschall like Wojo does for Markus and Sam....whenever possible.
