Just read the Sport Illustrated article on the 20 Wooden award finalists. Markus is not mentioned in the narrative, though he is on the list. But, this list says that he plays for Wisconsin!!

I won't lie.....that hurts.
When will these people learn that Marquette is in Michigan?
If Markus Howard gets drafted out of Wisconsin this year does that technically mean we can keep the Markus Howard from Marquette???

If they're gonna screw it up, I'd rather have him play for MU and listed for WI than vice versa.

I did this. They've already fixed.
Lists no matta. It's Zion's ta lose, hey?
Love how it says Zion leads the list when the list is, in fact, alphabetical and Zion is actually last listed...
Coincidentally, the Wisconsin women's team has a player named Marsha Howard.
On the women's list, three play for Uconn.

;D
I bombed em too!
The thing that bugs me is the degree of sloppiness involved with this error. It isn't as though Markus is just some random guy of the thousands playing D1 basketball, or even that he is only marginally on the Wooden watchlist. He is the clear BE POY at this point, and actually among the small handful of guys who'd have a shot at the Wooden award if Zion broke his leg.
They really should know where he plays.

Yep, imagine the universal outcry if the typo had been "Zion Williamson, North Carolina, Freshman".
Markus first team here:

of course, picking nits, he mentions Carsen Edward's scoring average: " No major-conference player can match Edwards' 24.5 PPG, either."...uh Markus?

ESPN still thinks the BE is a mid-major league, even though we have more national championships since the realignment than any conference except the ACC.
SI is becoming a Mid-Major.

Big East will magically be a major again if ESPN out bids Fox for the TV rights in a few years.

I have a sneaking suspicion you're right....
SI's website is trash
I was introduced to a new remote employee at work form the south while wearing my MU pullover today.
His quote, "Marquette is in Milwaukee? I thought it was further south, like Indiana "
