8-1 now brings coach Wojo's career Big East record (not including Big East tournament games) to 39-42. He is now 4 wins away from an overall winning conference record.
I'm hoping for a better record, but a 14-4 finish (going 6-3 next 9 games) for this year would keep him at .500 and would be a perfect mirror for the 4-14 season his first year at the helm.
This was a slow re-build, but I've enjoyed watching the way his teams have grown the past few seasons.
Wow didn't realize that it was still so poor, guess averaging .500 the past three years made me forget how bad we were that first year.
The past 3 seasons have been very average and I'm looking forward to seeing coach Wojo with a winning Mojo.

I've also forgotten how bad that first season was. It was locked up in a memory chest 3 layers of sleep deep.

at least as a program we're at the level that averaging 20wins and .500 is average for our program. Depaul would probably kill for a year like the ellenson year.
