Does anyone know if MU would release some Standing Room Only tickets for NMD game on 2/9?
Tickets prices are very high on secondary markets so demand is there, could easily sell a few hundred SRO's, I think the Bucks have been doing it for some games this year
Great question. This game is crazy for demand and the cost on the 2ndary market are some of the highest I've seen.

Secondary prices are up for all of our games.
We can't make the Creighton game, and last week, I relisted our tix on Ticketmaster for more than double the face. I figured I could always lower them if I didn't have any takers. They sold within 72 hours.
Indeed. Winning breeds interest.
However, this Nova game is unlike any game I have seen in maybe decades......including Badger games.
Great. Winning breeds interest among the casual fan. A winning team against a defending national champion SHOULD be a tough ticket to get. This is the dream, kids.
Anyone think maybe we get ESPN college gameday? Only other really big game is Duke Virginia but there were already at the first game.

ESPN game day. For an FS1 game. When duke and Virginia are top 4 in the country and an ESPN game.
Maybe? But I'm gonna go no.

Bingo. Case in point. Markus Howard, getting very little media attention. Why? NOT AN ESPN LEAGUE. Same with Shamorie Ponds. Same with how nova has started 8-0 but ESPN doesn't mention it.
It's not an ESPN league. It doesn't make them money. Being bipartisan with sports is no longer a thing. If it doesn't make you money, it's not going to be on your station.

Markus has gotten good attention after the buffalo and Creighton performance. Also ESPN has shown highlights for many MU games this year. if youre ranked high they kind of have to show it.

Not true. Markus has been getting good pub, including on ESPN.
