Title: Marquette Auction Site
Post by: ski44 on January 22, 2019, 06:44:45 PM
Marquette would regularly put up items on this site for auction, but there's been nothing for months. Is MU using a different site for its auctions now, or just not getting rid of anything?

I miss those auctions. I was able to get several game worn jerseys for under $50.

I got some good stuff as well. Message me if you want to move any of your jerseys. Always buying...

I hope they continue doing those auctions.  I've collected a small variety of styles/colors over the years, and I'd love to fill in a few gaps from the Wade and Crowder eras.

I was able to get a gold Lawrence "Trend" Blackledge, a white Craig Kuphall, and a navy Scott Merritt.  All in the 2003 to 2007 style.

I miss the auctions, but IMHO you were awfully lucky to get Merritt and Blackledge for anywhere near $50. I bid on several regular rotation players (Cubillan, Acker, Otule) but gave up when they went over $100.

I ended up getting a Joe Fulce and Joe Chapman for around $100 each, and a Jerel McNeal for $200.

Maybe you just bid on the easy auctions.... ;)

Has anyone found any information on if they use a new site. I want to get a few jerseys if possible.

Marquette is no longer doing the online auctions due to a change in website partners.

No one at MU Athletics knows how to open an ebay account?
