Haven't seen much MU content from Lori lately, but here's a nice one....

I agree with Markus that the AAU and summer basketball is too all encompassing and that should be more time instead for skills development.
Nice article. I particularly liked hearing about him going to a psychologist. Most people should see a therapist in some form or another, if nothing more than to learn how to express emotions in a healthy matter. On a side note, if you have ever been to Arizona, the therapy industry is huge there.

Agreed. It isn't cheap and it isn't well covered by most insurance, but a mentally healthier population would be a great thing.
Markus is building an impressive "resume," both on the court and off. It certainly appears he has a bright future ahead of him. Proud to have him represent MU.
I sure hope he doesn't do something in the future that makes us regret all of our positive comments and feelings about him. You know, like getting into politics or something.

That's stoopid! Don't go telling the rest of us we're not well-adjusted, you jerk! I express my emotions just fine, dipshyte!!! And yes, that is an effen Glock, and I know how to use it!
It's sad to learn that basketball has become so all encompassing, consuming young people's lives. There needs to be more balance where players have more time to spend with their families and friends. One and a half days spent with family in a year, as Markus said, just isn't enough. Hope he is able to change this in his leadership role so that players have more free time and better mental health.
Fantastic article, thanks for sharing. I'm not sure if we could ask for a better representative of our Alma Mater. He continues to solidify himself as one of my all time favorite players
A fine representative of the university. Believes student athletes should be paid, but not willing to make a big deal about it.
Take care of your mental health.
