Title: Fitz starts

Jumped center, and replaced Burke in the starting lineup.  Shot 2 three pointers on first two possessions but missed both.

if he can't hit his threes he shouldn't be on this team- much less starting.  He must have some good dirt on crean

Perhaps a confidence-booster, but it obviously didn't work. Maybe TC was just sick of seeing Ooze and Barro going scoreless.

At this point I'd say Blackledge has earned the right to start at the five.  Ooseman can't catch the ball, Fitzgerald isn't a five and Burke hasn't done anything but foul people -- Blackledge can run the floor and he's actually an alright defender (did the best job on Harangody out of the three that played on him).

I like the energy Blackledge brings, but watching him play you can see why Crean doesn't play him more.  He'll get a block here and there as a help defender, but he cannot guard a center/power forward at all.  He is just overpowered.  He was barely a minor annoyance to the people he was guarding tonight.  The problem is when you insist on having 4 guards/wings on the floor all the time, your fifth guy needs to have a little more inside presence than Blackledge.  I wouldn't mind seeing him on the floor with Hayward and either Barro or Burke.

I was pi$$ed at first and then I realized why when Fitz hoisted up his first 3. He was trying to bring the shot blocker out to the top of the key. It might have worked if Fitz was even close on the first 2 attempts.
