Trust me, keep an eye on this girl, she will be a monster in a year.

Not a true basketball pic but it was a nice shot so I included it.

Paige is awesome.
I have to third that statement. I was excited about her play from the 20 minutes of the midnight madness scrimmage and she really hasn't let me down yet. She was a really nice pickup by Terri. Looking a little ahead, losing only Svetlana spells some special things for this team's future as the freshmen are so important already.
Women's basketball? Are you kidding me? Please remove this. I don't care if it is MU or not go create a separate board for this.

No. Don't like it? Don't read the thread. Can't manage to do that? Go find another site.

uh-oh, I see trouble brewing in this thread.
Trouble probably should be brewing in this thread...
I realize that this is a male dominated site but, honestly? The sexism isn't appreciated.
Marquette has both a men's and women's basketball team and although the women's team hardly gets any attention they deserve our respect!
Plus, they just beat DePaul, a ranked opponent, yesterday, which is pretty impressive. As much as I love the men's basketball team, what have they done lately? Exactly.
I had the opportunity to coach against Paige last year in Regionals/Sectionals. She's an amazing player. The moment I saw her, I knew she would be ready for DI basketball. I know her numbers have been down as of late, but next year, she's gonna explode. I'm very happy she's a part of the MU community.
I love seeing Paige play. She's awesome. Glad her foot's better.

Unfortunately I'm not 100% on the timeline, but Paige was in a boot for a little while lately. Lam has taken over her starting spot in that time. This has probably contributed to the drop in production.

I try to follow up on her as much as possible...clearly I'm not on top of everything. The foot injury does explain a lot. Thanks for bringing this to my attention :)
