Vander has now played for at least 15 different teams -- in Israel, China, Italy, the D-League, the G-League, the NBA and the NBA summer leagues -- since 2013.

So in contrast to people who are amazed he left when he did, maybe we should just be surprised that he even stuck around as long as he did.

According to Twitter, he's #3 on the all-time scoring list...for the g-league. Dude needs to go to Europe and get paid.

As much of my salary as I devote to travelling there, Europe isn't for everyone. Some people are just more comfortable closer to home.

This. Kid is a hard worker, a grinder, and hasn't run afoul of anyone in his time after Marquette. I think he likely has trouble adjusting. Not everyone can have Mark Wahlberg helping him fall in love with Italy like Jimmy.

Vander has a PERFECT game to excel in China and make great money doing it, but that's a BIG adjustment.
