put the donut down and stop fretting. We are not that bad and Louisville is not that good. Lets just hope James can get Healthy
Agreed. I'll be concerned if it becomes a pattern, but the fact is we didn't play well against a pretty good team on the road. Our "body of work" for the whole season tells me we are better than this one game indicates. Hopefully the team learns from it and moves forward.
I believe that a major reason for the loss was the way that Lville played defense after a made basket. They employed a 3 man press, whose object was not a turnover but did result in delaying how quickly MU could bring the ball up court. This defense totally shut down MU's speed and made them play into the half court offense.
And many on the board have detailed the half court woes - shooting, rebounding, etc
Pitino did a great job in taking away MU's biggest weapon, our speed
I'm not fretting either, even if we lose tomorrow...but I think we have a decent shot at tomorrow's game.
I just don't understand the choking comment. Isn't choking when you're a clear favorite or have the game won and blow it? We were neither in this game.
Straight from Neek's mouth re. his wrist: "not good bro"
from Wesley on whether or not DJ will play this weekend: "he should be fine"
