Markus is going to step up and have a strong game tonight. Will play under control and make the open shots when he gets them. As Mr. Dodds likes to say there is a good shooting background at the Barclay Center.
Well, I think we are 2-0 at Barclays under Wojo. Might as well stay undefeated.
Not sure if he will be able to handle the pressure from Kansas. I fear a bunch of turnovers from him again tonight.
Taller, quicker defenders with him at the top of the scouting report.
As Joseph Chartouny goes... so goes Marquette.

My thoughts exactly. If we get the Chartouny we got in the second half of the Presbyterian game, we might even win tonight.

Because Presbyterian is just like Kansas???? The only way Marquette wins this game is if the wind prevents the Kansas team bus from getting to Brooklyn.
We got this.

As they say, he is the straw that stirs the delicious victory drink.

Honesty can be brutal at times. To win we need the following:
1) Markus learns how to pass, steals the ball and does not turnonver the ball over while shooting lights out.
2) The Hausers go to another level.
3) Joseph has 8 assists and 10 points
4) Theo does not foul and he, Bailey and Morrow find another gear.
5) Jamal also also shoots lights out while being a monster on the boards.
6) Sacar`s D shuts done their point guard.
Wojo makes them believers in themselves.

Markus goes for 35 and Sam 28, and we may have a chance.
So I hope he steps it up.

This is all true if Kansas plays against competition like MU at the historic clip it's done this season against low level competition, especially from 3pt range.....but it's arguable that Kansas could "regress to the mean" or have an off night and MU just needs to be competent. I think it probable that Kansas wins going away but let's not act like if MU wins it was some magical, unrepeatable outcome.

Reality of it is simple. Kansas is better than us but maybe a bit overrated.
We have not played well but we all know the talent is there to be a lot better.
Beating KU is a real possibility..but losing to them is more of a possibility.
What I'm looking for is a good game from MU. I want a win and will be rooting for it big time. BUT what can not happen is a blowout.
Obviously, we have not yet proved we can beat a team like Kansas. I hope we prove it tonight. This is where good teams can emerge. Looking forward to a great contest where we come ready to play our best. Our team has some formidable assets! Don't give up before tip-off!

I think you're last sentence might need a little improvement.

KenPom says 21% chance so the answer is a solid doubtful.
Dude needs to learn how to play on a team. Would be an awesome one on one offensive player.
Howard was terrible the 2nd half. Missed a ton of open shooters and took a lot of terrible shots as well....
By step up you meant step in it eh?

Of the 6 requirements to win shown above looks like 1 is the one that hurt the most.
First half Markus: 13 points, 4 assists, 1 TO, 5/13 FG, 3/7 3P
Second half Markus: 5 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 TO, 1 PF, 1/10 FG, 2/2 FT, 1/4 3P
