Anyone making the trip this year? I know I will :)
Last year, when MU played in Storrs the MU fans were put right next to the student section, a little sliver of gold maybe about 75 people in a place with about 9,000 people decked out in white. MU got up early, and pulled away at the end, and we could be heard throughout the whole arena cheering and singing the fight song. I remember hearing it was their first on campus conference loss in a few years.
Well, a certain UCONN student was not happy with our behavior and decided to come over and threaten our entire section, and to prove his manhood he tried to pick a fight with a middle aged man who had has 4 year old daughter with him. Awesome UCONN, awesome.

This made me ponder the fact that I'm 41 and have a four year old daughter. Does this mean I'm middle aged? The truth might hurt.
I'll be at the game and yes I remember the incident with the UConn student trying to pick a fight with an MU Alum. It was surreal.
this a-hole was dead serious about it too...he was totally "likes to fight guy"
but on the bright side it only took security about 10 minutes to get the guy out of our section
For whatever it's worth, not all UConn fans are like that tool you encountered last year. In fact, some of us couldn't be happier MU joined the Big East (although, I'd be a little happier if we could actually beat you). From my experience, MU has very classy fans, and the school has great tradition. Come to my section next next time. I'll welcome you....and bring that 40 year-old...I'll kick his a** AND his 4 year old daughters!! (just kidding)
