Those things looked sweet... too bad we'll never see 'em again.
There's really not much more to say that hasn't been said, but I do have one thing I was pondering. After reading the posts on our bigs, I think the most frustrating thing for me is a lot of the mistakes made tonight were effort/mental lapses.
Obviously none of our frontcourt players sans Lazar are gifted or that talented on the offensive end. BUT, you don't have to have game to learn how to show on a screen and recover on the screener. They were asleep, and saw it too late to defend it. It doesn't take a ton of talent to get position or grab a board. They simply got outworked underneath which absolutely cannot happen with this group. They don't have the ability to be able to take possessions off mentally or physically.
I actually don't like those jerseys.... I think the Navy Blue are way better. And for Home, I like the whites the best...
I can't wait till we have "throwback" jerseys for a few years ago, so we will have like 6 + jerseys. I am glad we have so many different jerserys, too bad we can't put goog big players in them....
Thanks, Boognish, I was starting to think I was the only one. I think those powder blue unis are pretty terrible. Navy and white are best, but the gold ones are fine, too.
Odds we never see the Powder Blue jerseys again? For my money I say 3-1.
What is the deal with the word mark on those jerseys. Is that part of the "throwback" look?
i really didnt care for the type that "marquette" was in on the baby blues. why is it different from the others?
Yup, I'm sorry to say it, but I hated the powder blues. They were awful. Hopefully, we won't see that color for another 30 years.
Those jerseys were hideous. I hated them when they were introduced, hated them worse seeing them on the court. We won't see them again this year.
I loved them, although I agree debuting them on the road was goofy. Too much playing to the camera for my taste.
