Lunardi made a Bracketology before the season starts tonight.... has us as a 6 seed playing Arizona in the West region but also has us as one of the last 4 teams in the tournament :o ?-( Bold prediction there

Haven't we seen lunardis brackets be ridiculously bad in the preseason time and time again?
Yawn. I believe that MU's tourney seed will accurately reflect their body of work.
I'm going to guess he just updated the bracket portion and not the bottom categories. Arizona State is not in the field but is listed as one of the "Last Four Byes". NC State is "Last Four Byes" but in a play-in game, while Alabama is listed as "First Four Out" but also in a play-in game.

Like brew said, he just screwed up. Do note that he had 6 BEast teams making the field.

MU a 6 Nova a 3. That's not exactly a ringing endorsement of the league.
Predicting bids for 6 Big East teams: Villanova (3), Marquette (6), Butler (9), St. John's (9), Providence (10) and Xavier (10).

All leagues have ebbs and flows. It is possible this is going to be a 'down' year for the Big East. Maybe Villanova doesn't win their third championship in 4 years. Maybe the league doesn't get two #1 seeds like last year. But maybe MU is better than we all anticipate and has 30 wins prior to the tourney. . R-E-L-A-X. The league is fine.

Oh I was making a comment on lunardi, trust me I think we'll be fine and MU goes 40-0

Honestly, pretty close to what I came up with when I looked at the league. I think I might bump Marquette and SJU up a seed line and Xavier down a seed line but other than that it looks good to me.
Thank goodness we're not a dreaded 5 seed!

So you were anticipating a ringing endorsement.

If not, smh.
Program in decline. Fire JW, rehire Steve Lappas, and start over (aka the "DePaul Reload").

The hysterical thing about that is that Lappas' record at Nova got him fired...but if he had the same record at DePaul, they'd put up a statue.
Lappas at 'Nova: 174-110 (.613)
Leitao at DePaul: 87-99 (.468)

I'd say that JLP would sell her soul for the success of Lappas at Nova (4 NCAAs and 3 NITs in 8 years) but clearly she doesn't care. Hell, even when they try to invest in the program they screw it up. $70 million towards an arena you don't even own could have gone a long way towards a Cintas like on campus arena or at least a state of the art training facility and a solid coaching staff.

Take it back, O.G.E.! Every 5 seed loses every NCAA tournament game to every 12 seed.
I mean come on ... it's math!
