Watched AR play a few minutes today.
In the 1st half, fe tried a turnaround jumper that was blocked by 6-1 Josh Gray, leading to a 3 for the T-Wolves. He threw away a pass, leading to a layup for the T-Wolves. He was yanked out of the game.
Came back in for a couple minutes in the 4th quarter. Missed a 15-footer, was beaten badly on a backdoor layup by Jonathan Stark, was beaten badly on a drive into the lane by Stark, who dished to a teammate for a hoop.
Seemed completely overmatched on the court on defense. He did look relatively comfortable handling the basketball, though.

And this will be the defining reason he does not play in the league. Love the guy. Love what he did at Marquette. So much fun to watch when he was on a roll. Simply too small and too lousy a defender to play in the league.
To be fair, at no point over the last two years did I think he was going to even play one minute in the NBA.

We have some folks here who think that guys with no chance have a chance. But I truly don't recall seeing a single Scooper who thought AR had a chance. Maybe I missed it, though.
Andrew is a fun player to watch. The summer league for AR is an audition for a foreign team. His best shot is to go to Japan or Korea where there will be less of a physical mismatch and the fans will love him . Davante is thriving in Japan. Led the league in scoring and enjoying himself.
