Pabst is relaunching Red, White & Blue, but only at the Pabst Milwaukee Brewery and Taproom @ 1037 W. Juneau Ave..
It will be available by the glass and to-go in a 32 ounce crowler.

Oh man, $4.99 cases of RW&B returnable bottles from the Pick n' Save got me through senior year.

It was $4.05 a case when I was there.

Apparently market research told Pabst there is a demand for R,W & B.
-
With liability the way it is they will probably need rubber bumpers on the naked slip and slide lanes
They should rename the tap room the Lanche for launch date
-
Now all they have to do is bring back the 'Lanche, sell bottles of RW&B for 35 cents and get ready to sweep all the glass off the floor at the end of each night.
I tell friends about the "tradition," and they think I'm making it up ... but really, I couldn't make that shyte up!

A six of RWB at The Lanche was $1.40. Technically you were expected "to go..."

Actually, a 2Lt made $8.89/Hr based on a 2,080 hour year.

You were a 2lt in college?

The summer between my soph and junior years, I was an intern at a newspaper in Connecticut. I worked 40-hour weeks, and my weekly take-home pay was $102.
And I thought, "Man, that's good money for doing what I want to do!"
I wasn't very bright ... which explains my choice of profession.

No. I was Jimmy Doolittle and Chuck Yeager in my mind's eye so I guess I was an aspiring Colonel.
For beer money I worked construction during summer's in Arlington, VA. Union card and all. I think it was $4 plus overtime. All gravy since I was living in my folks digs at Ft Myers and driving the spare 240 GL.

$4/hr? I was getting $10/hr doing road construction in the summers. You had the wrong union.

Virginia...
Trying to recall what the rate was...it may have been $6 an hour. At the end of the day it wasn't anywhere near $10.
What is crazy is that my salary as a butter bar was $8.89 an hour which means that guys learning to fly complicated, expensive jets made less than guys digging ditches in MN.
I will say that chicks in Enid, OK probably responded better to "I am training to fly F 16s" than "I run the ditch witch out on I 35."
