With Froling's departure, that leaves MU with one to fill after today's grad transfer announcement, I believe.
Bank it or keep shopping?

They are clearly going after a traditional transfer.
So, a "sit out a year" guy, unless it's a fired coach situation...
Aren't they are holding it for Happ?
Definitely seems like traditional transfer is the route we are planning on going. We know of three targets already in McEwen, Carr, and Burke. A few nice names have come available in the past few days so maybe we go after one them as well.
Koby McEwen will have the chance to take that scholarship this weekend. Could make it a Canadian Club weekend.
I'd definitely use it on a traditional transfer.
Then sign 3 in the fall because there will be a transfer or two. Just the reality we live in.
I'd go PG, taller wing, and a big.
1. Carton/Watts/McKinney
2. Wilson/Williamson
3. TBD big
I'd also take Carton, Watts, and a big. Heck, if 3 of the 5 players listed above are willing to commit, I'd take any combination.

But....drink what? McEwan's Ale or CC?
And is the kid's name pronounced like said Scottish ale of the same name? (rhymes with Dwyane)
We have one "immediate" scholarship for next year......
And we have at least one more for 19.....
The immediate scholarship could go to McKewen......That would be a great get.....
And for 19.....We would have 3 "essentially" combo guards with flexibility to add either a point or another combo guard with height (my preference)
3 of the 4 combo guards with height, dribbling, shooting, and playmaking make it hard for the opponent to press because you have 2 on the court at all times.....Howard needs to improve his "handle".....We all know he can shoot with the best......Nothing you can do about his height.....
Did MU take McEwan to the Bucks game last night? Great crowd.

I'll take the CC with the Beer Chaser.

I think you are right. We are at 12 right now. No use bringin' in a recruit who is going to sit on the bench for a year or two and then transfer.
Roster is best at 10-11 players + walk-ons.
I'm always good with at least one in street clothes.

Pretty sure that'd be an impermissible benefit. Now hopefully the players were going and happened to have an extra ticket

There's an entertainment budget. I'm sure MU can get some seats at face value.

They've done this quite often.

Actually on the official recruiting trip I have read there is a pretty surprising large range of
"permissables".....I do not know if the Bucks game is allowed.....But I actually think it is.....
The official recruiting trip is a lot more lax.....And then they have these stringent.....You can not talk to a player in these given "two week periods' or "certain texting parameters" etc.....
It is really weird......
All I know for sure......Strippers and prostitutes fall outside the bounds.....Note to Louisville......

Huh had no idea
I saw Joel Embid and Jamal Wilson at a game during his recruitment. You want the recruits to meet Giannis and Jabari to impress them, I have
also seen them in a box with the team. I am sure MU has to pay for the tickets but Harry must have had the tickets from Thon as I saw him there
a few times. Not sure what the rules are and are not? Can somebody explain?

Used to follow harry on Snapchat and he'd always post about going to bucks games and I chalked it up to him having money back in Australia or being buddies with thon.
We are currently going after another transfer prospect as far as I've heard. From the people I've talked to we have a good shot at landing him too.

Universities are allowed to pay for a recruit and the recruit's guardian to enjoy some entertainment on their official visit as long as it is within a certain budget and a certain radius of campus (30 miles IIRC). MU has often taken recruits to Bucks games.
Also if you think about it, why would a school get in trouble for giving the recruit a tour of their home stadium? It is a great recruiting advantage for us.
Do the regular recruiting rules apply for transfers?

Not our home stadium anymore ;)
