It was 80 a year ago in the upper Midwest.
I usually have cut my wannabe masters yard twice by now. This morning I bought 50 lbs of salt.
Just shoveled a foot+ of wet snow. Snowblower was not much help.
Golf season was supposed to open yesterday. :P
Effing snowing again. Another 3 inches again
It's been 70-80 all week in Charlotte. Did rain today, though.
On the downside, to enjoy that weather I have to live in Charlotte - ha!
Just shoveled another 4 inches of slop. Need whiskey.
We had two separate storms in April here where there was no snow on the ground when I left for work in the morning, there were 4-5 inches of snow on the ground by noon, and it all melted by the time I left at 5:30. I went to see my nephew pitch in Pennsylvania on Saturday and it was 80 degrees (I believe it was upper 70s here in CT). I went to church Sunday morning here in CT and it was 32 with heavy winds.
We had March in February and February in March, and now a miserable April so far. Just a crazy spring.
The weather is great here in Dusseldorf. Supposed to be near 80 by Friday...........
Low 80's here in Hong Kong today. It feels awfully nice.
Sunny and 85 yesterday in Virginia Beach. Cold front went through last night, so today is sunny and only 68.
Was using a shovel to do some gardening, and thought of you all shoveling snow. I felt bad for a moment, and then decided I needed to celebrate the weather and had my first outdoor beer of the summer.
You know it's an awful April when a baseball team that has a dome has to call a game due to weather.

I had a beer in my driveway after I finished shoveling.
I'm not going to rub in what April's been like in Naples. I will, however, encourage all my midwestern and northeastern friends to evacuate while they still can.

Did that really happen??
It was 89 in Vero Beach yesterday.
It was 76 today and will be 78 tomorrow with no clouds in the sky.
This April weather is nice, except I am sitting in an office working and getting ready to go to New York City.
Lenny
I am counting the days, actually years, until I am a Naples resident. Had great week of golf there in Feb., 80 degrees everyday.
I blame it on Al Gore - first he invented Global Warming, and how he's messed it up!

When I talk about moving to a warmer climate, Wisconsin people always say something about "wont you miss the seasons?!" And I always tell them I will miss summer in MKE/Chicago, and not a week more. Ive not had a solid spring since I moved back from SW Ohio after college and have had more crap cold falls than falls you can enjoy. Spring shouldn't be 2-3 weeks before summer heat hits in June and fall shouldnt be a couple nice light jacket weather months in late Sept.
Yeah, I saw just the line @Tor postponed and I was like, "What?" I guess there was ice falling from the top of the big tower there near the entrances to the ballpark and they were worried about getting sued.
Damage to Toronto's Rogers Centre roof, including a large hole created by falling ice from the nearby CN Tower.
After 8 inches of snow and ice this weekend, we are supposed to get up to 8 more tomorrow.
If we get 3.5 inches tomorrow, it will be the new record for April snowfall in RST.

We had I think 22 this weekend in the NW suburbs. Tomorrow less than an inch hopefully here downtown.
RC — I'll be fairly near you this weekend for a tourney. Mounds Park Academy. Sat 8am & 10am. #Pray

Ish. It stands for West Coast. Occasionally we'll fly out west to grab a nice meal, then heard back to the Twin Cities. #DayTrip
