After reading this, I noticed the mention of every player but one. Is it safe to say Harry is gone elsewhere by the time next year rolls around?
Good to know that Greg has already had the surgery.
No mention of Harry, but Wojo does say that everyone other than Andrew will be back, so your guess is as good as mine. Still hope he stays but have no clue whats going through the kids head.
No mention of Froling, but Steele did say this:
The pressure will be on Wojciechowski to put all the pieces together and make the NCAA Tournament.
Glad to see Steele put in words in Milwaukee's newspaper of record what most everybody already had been thinking.
I'm bullish on Wojo (as most know), but it's time. I expect them to be better next season, which at the minimum means an NCAA berth.

I hope Harry stays and tries to improve his game, bigs take a little longer to get it. He has some talent, just needs to work on improving his lateral quickness, and
his jumping ability. He has a bigger upside then Matt. Now if MU can get a grad transfer and a regular transfer, then Harry can leave. I like transfers as they seem
to improve with there year off. Even Harry re-did his body, now has to figure out how to use it. I expect Morrow will have worked on his offensive game this past
year. He hit no 3's at Nebraska, I expect he is working on that.
Yea, you certainly can't say Harry didn't work his ass off during his red shirt year. People always say he looks so disinterested and unmotivated, but he did lose 50 pounds

Wojo also said we only lose Andrew.
Might just be that with his reduced role at the end, Steele figures his role won't be all that prominent even assuming he's here. Seems like a plausible assumption at this point. Every team needs someone at the end of the rotation.
It certainly is plausible that Steele simply forgot to include Froling.
It happens.
Maybe one of you who uses Twitter could tweet at Steele and ask him if it was an intentional omission or not and get back to us, hey?

You could e-mail him.

He did take the time to mention that Cam was going to be a senior, though. Take that for what you will.

I think you said it best, "but it's time". To me, that sums a season of debates from the pro, anti and guys in the middle camp. I truly hope EVERYONE can agree, "but it's time" to delivery the goods. Granted, the different camps will have different expectations of what that means.
I am going on record today saying that my "it's time" for next year are:
In NCAA without sitting on the bubble watch on selection Sunday. Again, that is assuming no major negatives, injuries, transfers, etc., happens between today and next selection Sunday.

Yep. In the same boat too. But Wojo doesn't get a pass if it's because of major transfers. That's would be an alarming problem that is on him.

I expect much of the debating and arguments on here won't be around next year because it is time to be safely in on selection Sunday.

Or if the Hauser boys are not healthy!

We should be safely in, but that will in no way stop people from arguing.

I'm convinced that if Marquette won the national title on a 3/4 court shot that some Scoopers would be upset Wojo couldn't design a play to get a half court shot.

Willie would be saying it was a travesty we didn't blow them out and wojo should be fired
Lazar
I could not care less if Wojo ever called a play all season, provided they win. All I care about is winning on the national scene and doing it on consistent basis. I have my style preference, but that goes out the window with W's.

....but Cam is a local kid whose family is prominent in Milwaukee in general and MU in particular. Don't think JSonline gets many clicks down under.

Where was Sacar when this happened? Has anyone seen him?

Yep, agendas are agendas and facts and stats can be twisted and slanted. I think that Diogenes with his lantern would have a hard time finding what's he seeks in this group.
Some are reading too much into this.

People strawmanning the negativity is getting just as bad.
I hope Wojo shares after his Freshman year Duke thought they made a mistake in recruiting and what he needed to do.
One of the things I see, is some Porridge still remains and he was consistently pushed around by other Bigs. I think Muscles and Confidence will make him into the player Wojo thought he was recruiting, the skills seem to be there..
Updated per Ben Steele via Twitter "Harry Froling will not return." Well that settles it.

How much time was remaining in this scenario?

The porridge was between the ears. No fight in that dog. Skilled and 6'11" totally a good try for wojo just didnt work out. Wrong kid for the program. Not tough enough to play major division 1 basketball. Im sure hes a good kid, just not the right for major D1 ball in the US.

Should have gotten the kid on Creighton.
I like Heldt's game .
