Near the end of his post-game interview, Wojo said something along the lines of "these guys played like warriors, real warriors."
After a brief pause, Mac quietly responded, "we've been directed not to use that word." Homer tried to cover, saying "we can't use it, but you [Wojo] can. That's reserved for you."
Hard to tell whether it was an intentional reference. Go Warriors!

Didn't hear that but just watched his presser. You can tell he really loves the team he has and applauded them for giving everything they currently have. Said that Elliott has had a broken thumb all season (which we knew) and confirmed that Sam is "playing on 1 leg"

I've recently heard him say warriors when describing the team during a TV timeout.
-
Why should Mac care what they're directed to say. He's a short timer!!
-
I'm guessing that was Mac's deadpan humor.

Yes .. the entire Warrior discussion was tongue-in-cheek.

Yes, they have a Warrior play set too, IIRC.

Yep.
"I'm only the second best center from my high school named Jim who went to Marquette."

Not from Wojo, but filed under funny post-game stuff:

Wojo's reference to warrior was directed at Sam, who is basically playing on one leg. "Sam is a warrior."
