That's what Carolina thought ... before only beating Harvard by 2 points in the 2015 NCAAs.

This is a team that lost to DePaul basically at home and just barely beat Eastern Illinois at home. Anything is possible.

Have to post this everything I see this stupid reasoning.

US as fans will not effect the result of the Harvard game by talking about Notre dame. The players play, we don't.

That was a flagrant 1 by the ducks? The hell are these refs.

Oregon took care of business, they will be a tough matchup for MU, get past Harvard, then we probably have a high scoring affair on tap.

Why? Oregon plays at a very slow pace and has a crap offense.

Bill Walton might be the biggest idiot and most annoying announcer I've ever had to listen to.  The guy knows nothing and sounds like a drunken idiot.

I didn't get a chance to listen.
How many references to Jerry Garcia and/or Bob Dylan? They are usually subtle, but they are always there.

I saw a tweet from someone this morning saying "Bill Walton should call very NIT game".  I assumed either he has changed his style from every game I have ever heard him call or that person has a personal vendetta against the NIT and any fan who would watch an NIT game.

I love Walton on TV. I only watched the 1 quarter before I went to bed. I'll watch/listen to the rest of the game this morning.

Walton is a big MU fan. He named his son after Maurice Lucas.

If he promised to sit silently while wearing an MU Hawaiian shirt he would move much higher on my list of favorite announcers.

I, too, find his non-sequiturs and flights of verbal fancy very enjoyable.

Really???  Teal? Not talking about Oregon State, Sheldon, Willamette, Lane Community College, or South Eugene.  You watch the Ducks play this year?

MU 81.2 ppg
Oregon 77 ppg

Not quite pedestrian.  Just put up 99 in first NIT game and 89 against DePaul.

PPG means nothing. Oregon has the 73rd ranked offense this year. Not great.

Well, they haven't seen our defense yet.

Yes, teal was completely unnecessary.

73rd in offense, 234th in pace = slow not great offense

I guess they will just have to play the game,  should be a good one.  Last time I saw Oregon play was in a sea of red at the BC (not fun), hopefully MU can take care of business tonight and against the Ducks.

I did not see the Rider/Oregon game. Did the wider lane/longer 3pt arc/ shot clock reset/ effect the game?

Unless you watched espn3 app, most people didn't.

That said, 5 games where on TV. I like the quarters and re-setting of the fouls, which I was on record saying here weeks ago.

330 Sunday. After that performance, I would have been fine with Saturday and missing my first MU game since the Omaha debacle several years back.
