Just curious to see how many people on this board would actually be willing to go to an NIT game if MU ends up in that tournament.
There is no option for "it depends". If I feel like it, and if one of my daughters feels like going, I might go. But I wouldn't want to go to a game at the BC. I want the full house and the fun of the Creighton game to be my last memory of a Marquette game at the BC, not a game with 4000 people in attendance against the regular season champion of some third rate conference.
Absolutely I would if I wasn't a 1000 miles away. More MU basketball is better than less
I would definitely go if I still lived in Milwaukee.
I'd like to. Wife will probably make the decision for me, though.
Game will be at the AL if NIT is the result.
Would a second or third round NIT home game also be at the AL?
A game at the Al would make it a definite yes. Will also probably go if at Bradley Center or at Mecca.
Students are on spring break this week.
First round games are on 3/13 and 3/14.
Really? This is where we are before the Selection Show.
I would go. Though I think we still make the ncaa
I would go if they make it to MSG.

It's the sad reality we face as MU fans unfortunately
any idea on price?
I'm in the only if they make it to MSG camp but that's because I live in metro NYC so it's really the only game I'd be able to attend by default. But if they get that far I'll be there.
I'd be in the it depends category, too. What day of the week, who plays in the NC2As if it's the same day in the 2nd round, who's the opponent, any chance of crappy weather. But that's also largely the same list of qualifiers I have for regular season games. Cheaper tickets and parking in a smaller and rarer venue doesn't hurt. But home games only almost for sure.

Back in 2004, it was $20.
15 years since we knew to ask what the price of a NIT ticket is. We've been entitled.
No, the NIT is irrelevant, kind of like MU has been for 5 years. Season tix holder for 35 years, done spending $$ on MU this season

I'd probably go. Didn't see them enough in person this year. That's if I get over the disappointment.

Same. I'll be watching. If they happen to play a road game near me I'd be there.
voted no but only because I'm on the west coast. otherwise, heck yes I'd he there.
Will absolutely go. I know there's no chance it will be at the BC, but I echo the sentiments of a previous poster. The Creighton game should be my last memory there

A chance to play more basketball, get the young kids additional reps in a win or go home environment. As a 35 year season ticket holder, you should know that importance for MU in the past and other teams.
NIT was the expectation this year, if that is where we land it means we met expectations.
"If you're absent during my struggle, don't expect to be present during my success." If this team is playing in Milwaukee I will be there watching.
I would definitely go if they play in New Orleans.

Yep, I'll be there if it comes to be! It's BB and it's MU...!!
I am going to hate-watch the sh!t out of this team at the Al

This is a great quote. Nice.
Horrible multiple choice options.
I will attend games to the Al if I get tix.
I will attend any road game within drviving distance.
I would swallow my disdain for a weekend to see MU at MSG. Even though MSG is bad for you.
If we make it to MSG , I will be going.
Depending on my travel schedule and the teams success I may go the 3rd round game which could possibly be Notre Dame.

If I lived in Milwaukee, I'd probably go. If I was home in suburban Chicago, not worth the effort. Being in Florida, not a chance.
Assuming ticket prices aren't completely unreasonable, I'll be there.

I'm pretty close to this if it fits my work schedule (Wednesday does not). Third round game in South Bend? Count me in! Can't do NY though.

Glad 4 years into Wojo your digging the NIT.
Ya, the NIT sucks. And, it sucks that this is totally self inflicted.
With that said, there is some really good competition in this year's NIT. This is a good opportunity to set a tone for next year.
ND sucks.
I think I'll hold my breath and kick my feet and pound my fists until Wojo gets us to the Sweet Sixteen.
And if I die before it happens, that's on him.
I really hope there's a lot of energy in the building Wednesday.
We've attended both recent Al games (Alabama A&M and UWM). Both were great fun. Neither had the drama or impact of a competitive NIT game. Looking forward to it.

If they have a game within driving distance I would go. (We won't if we keep winning.)
I will go to MSG to see if we make it that far.

Same here, hoping for a barn burner on Wednesday.
I heard they gave free tickets to the first 500 students that responded. Hopefully that motivated a few kids to come back early from break.

If not, they will sell them on the waiting list.
I was going to road trip and walk up and get a ticket at the gate. Probably not now.

Love him or hate him, I do not understand why a fan would not watch Rousey play another game. I am hoping we can play at least three games in NIT. Rousey has 643 points this season and Howard has 633. I think the all-time season scoring record is 690. With three NIT games both Rousey and Howard could surpass 690, which would be pretty amazing.

According to Sports Reference, Wade had 710 in 2003. Still a total worth watching if they play 3+ games.
Don't worry the "warrior" alumni got this.....
SOLD OUT!
Millennials need to drink at San Padre or some other destination south.....
