Rowsey with stitches.
Sam looks like his groin/hip still isn't great. Took a blow when diving for a ball. May have gotten another injury when he slid on the wet court.
Markus still appears to be suffering from lumbar/sacrum/hip injury.

Looked like his knee was bothering him after that. Hope he is ok.
Looked like he hyperextended his knee on that slip, and he clearly was hurting the rest of the way.
Stitches and stuff are usually just a distraction, but we're in trouble if Sam and Markus don't heal quickly.
Sam's so freaking tough. He hasn't let on much, but that hip has been a real issue. Playing through it and still being very effective.
Yeah Sam is super tough, he'll be having surgery after the season on the hip so put his performance into perspective. I'm guessing the knee is ok once he gets it warmed up but he's gotta be less effective than normal tonight.
Do we go 2-3 just to limit the amount of time Hauser has to chase people around the perimeter?

Seriously? Where'd you hear that?
Wow, I didn't know Sam was playing on a bad hip! Really tough kid.

Can't say, but it's impeccable. Side note, it's a routine thing, nothing dramatic but just something necessary for long term success.

Hmm. I knew his hip was bugging him, but didn't realize it was going to require going under the knife. Makes you wonder how good he could be next year. I think Sam has first team all american capabilities his last 2 seasons. He is that good.

Yep, I think you really see the impact in his lateral quickness. He will be a beast next year.

Not that you need it, but I can verify this as well. Gonna be a long rehab, so hopefully everything heals up the right way and he's ready to go in the fall.
Sam with improved lateral quickness is going to be great at the 3 next year.

Sam is the one valid concern. That slip and subsequent hyperextension of the knee looked bad.
Markus and Rowsey? Come on man. Markus has been moving just fine since he returned to the lineup. Rowsey's stitches?
I understand wanting to get some excuses lined up before tonight's game, but let's not sensationalize. Furthermore, Sam played 37 minutes last night despite the apparent hip issue.

I don't know how many people will make excuses if we lose. Everyone knows it will take an almost flawless game to win, Wojo said so last night. Everyone knows that Nova is the better team, that's why they're favored by double digits.
Unless you're Markus, Sam, Andrew, or a team doctor, I don't think you can say how injuries are effecting them. Neither can anyone else here. That's why the subject line in the thread has a question mark at the end of it.

Lining up excuses? Uh...
Someone has already noted Sam is having off-season surgery.
And if you haven't noticed Markus grabbing at his lower back/sacrum/hip since his bad fall, you haven't been watching closely.
You're thick. And not in a good way.

A Johnnie just slipped on the floor very close to where Sam did. Then it looked like they were patching the floor tape or something.

Announcers said something about the roof leaking.
Makes sense. I have the volume down because I'm watching at my desk :P

Yes, please, for the love of god, I have PTSD-style flashbacks to Brunson abusing us on P&R switches down the stretch 6 weeks ago

Didn't they just do a major renovation of MSG a couple years back? Did someone forget to look at the roof?

Wow. I had forgotten how incredibly sensitive you can be. Not sure what you found to be so offensive or classless about what I posted.
You really think if Markus or Sam had major injuries they'd be playing, much less playing 38 minutes? Hell, I acknowledged Sam's slip and knee extension did not look good - will have to see how he comes out tonight.
Markus just had a bad game last night, as he has against DePaul every game this year. Was Markus severely limited from a health perspective the game prior against Creighton?
Rowsey having stitches being referenced? Come on.
There are no "scopes" of hips like there are for knees. It's usually pretty involved.

Bump
Sam really hurting tonight
Now Cain heads to the locker room limping.
Haanif, where are you? Anyway. Sam is injured that badly. The surgery he is going to have (if the reports on the other board are accurate) will take a couple of months to recover from. I think Jamal turned his ankle.
Greg just badly turned his ankle as well
Hauser not even coming back into this game
Dodds indicating it was Sam's knee today. Yeah, that's is the opposite of better.
