No doubt she could handle the Xs and Os, but I wonder if some outdated notions about a woman coaching men would hurt on the recruiting trail.

She colluded with the Russians.

I think she'd for sure have a hard time recruiting.
She's been mentioned for the Bucks opening. I agree that recruiting high school kids might be tough.
She could do well. If she was coming from the WNBA or even a men's D-1 assistant it would be a more difficult message for recruits. Several years as a visible assistant in the NBA working with Pop, Duncan, Parker make the move more plausible, especially at a mid-major level where her resume compares favorably to coaches she would be competing against for recruits.
Fake news!!

Agree. Kids want to play for coaches who know what the NBA wants, and she has worked with some of the best. I'm sure some kids (or overbearing dads) would rule her out, but there could be enough who listen.
Also, if her knowledge of the game helps her win the first couple of years (likely with players from her predecessor), it'll make the gender thing less of an issue.
I get it's her alma mater, but isn't this aiming a little low for her? She has been talked about for an NBA head job.

Possibly, but she'd still make good money and maybe she likes it there. Never been, but I've heard Fort Collins is a awfully nice place.

It's very nice.
Think she could do better than CSU.
I was hoping she'd be a candidate for the Bucks position
