Title: First Four TV Schedule
Post by: MUDagwood on March 06, 2018, 02:34:59 PM
Anyone know the tv and timing for the first 4 in Dayton next Tuesday and Wednesday?  I assume they have the 16 seeds play first, followed by the 11/12s?  Planning some travel and want to make sure I can watch MU.

Another question hopefully somebody can confirm.  Assuming one gets assigned to Dayton, that team already knows where they will immediately head assuming they win, correct?  So MU would already know Dayton followed by Detroit (for example) on Selection Sunday.

Absolutely don't want to get ahead of ourselves but something tells me that if it's Detroit or Nashville chick will tell me to get my arse in the car with her.  The extra good news is that both are Friday/Sunday making it even more possible.

Honestly guys, there's few things more fun than an NCAA weekend.

+1  Especially when you win the first game.

One of my favorite in recent memory was DC in 2013, when we beat Miami in the Sweet Sixteen, and then had a couple of days to show off our MU gear around town.

Let's focus on beating DePaul first :)

Mrs. 82 and I thoroughly enjoyed that weekend ... right up until the Cuse game!

I have memories of being Indy for Holy Cross and Mizzou. Also memories of being in St. Louis for Tulsa. One great experience/one turn around and come home immediately experience.

Great experiences in Providence 1996 and Indy in 2003 after winning the first round games. Not so great in San Diego in 2006 after losing the first game of the Tourney, and realizing we had 5 more games to watch that did not include Marquette. The positive was meeting Dick Enberg and Jay Bilas in the parking lot before the game as everyone waited for the Arena to open after a bomb threat. Both were very cordial and enjoyed talking college basketball. Enberg was carrying cue cards with stats for the 4 games that day- very prepared.
